As I said yesterday, I’m all for following Denmark’s lead. Taiwan too are showing us the way. We need lock down and all folks returning from Cheltenham and football matches in the UK have to be quarantined. This is so serious and I believe the government and HSE management are underestimating how willing the Irish are to go into lockdown to help our follow citizens.

      In theory that makes sense.

      But it’s not that simple.

Some people have the luxury of working from home or having an employer that will continue to pay them if they self-isolate or have to stay home and mind their kids.

There are a lot of people that if they don’t go into work they won’t get paid. If the schools are closed who will look after their kids?

        This!

Paddy don’t give a fupp for a considerate decision with some sort of “*safety net” for those put in a precarious position.

*like what was done regarding loosening rules and increasing payout on Illness Benefit.

The effects of this outbreak have likely already been felt by such people and will be exacerbated even further if the virus spreads to an extent as seen in Italy. The cost will be paid by us collectively at some point. Best it’s done now rather than in 6 weeks time with a premium of human life added on top.

    “Accessed”?

That is, he hacked in? I don’t care what the dipstick thinks he found in there. I hope he’s charged if he hacked in.

All indications are that a lock down is coming, and this needs coordination not some self appointed warrior screaming for it because he read stuff mid-discussion.

I’m wondering the same and my first reaction was to question if this is real? Is this from his verified account?

Hey broadsheet, for all you know Paddy is panicking and has read a hoax or fake mail. Posting this, without verification, just adds to the hysteria.

Unless you’ve verified it of course!

Hopefully the Gardaí are speaking to Paddy. These tech boys need to learn to grow up and that actions have consequences in the real world.

hm, dunno…from a computing angle the language is open to interpretation…accessed doesn’t necessarily mean hacked

though my response to this in any case is “no sht sherlock!”

he’s never done giving out about us is he?

Like He’s already removed his business off to Portugal
Pity is that he didn’t turn his whole arse to us as well

Paddy is the kind of person who is always right and it is always someone else’s fault, any failure is never his fault. You can dismiss my comments as begrudgery and that’s fine but I will still wonder if Paddy could maybe have been successful without such a massive ego.
