‘Is This A Joke?’

at

Fianna Fáil party leader Micheál Martin (left), Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Sinn Féin party leader Mary Lou McDonald TD, before the final live television leaders’ debate of Election 2020

This afternoon.

Further to Fine Gael agreeing “seven tests” (above) that any future coalition must pass to form a Government and Fine Gael highlighting ten policy priorities…

Um.

Sinn Féin TD Eoin O’Broin tweetz:

“Am I seeing things? Is this a joke?

“Not a single mention of housing or homelessness in Fine Gael’s seven policy tests and ten specific policies they want a new government to achieve.”

…ok Bog_R…your credentials are not in doubt here…you have fought the good fight here for your party and we know you must be hurting having to get into bed with the FFers…we know the arts or homeless don’t feature on your radar…but guess what…

…sorry tweedldee…while you currently have the power to starve and ignore the arts or homeless you soon won’t have any power…

I think we all wish it was a joke, but sadly no, they are nasty pieces of work. WE’ll vote them out for good next time around!

All on the ‘….ings’. All ‘maybe’s’. ‘Look at’s’, ‘Implementing a Re-evaluated Slainte Care..’, ‘developing a plan’
Waffle / Padding – call it what you like. Political spake that says nothing.

I see there’s some sort of ‘Contract for the young’ too. Along the same lines of Enda Kenny’s ‘Contract with the people’. Remember that?

What is going on with number 7? Giving business a bigger role in society is supposed to lead to fairness?!

Yeah, Labour, the Social Dems and Greens will love that.

Isn’t it great folks, they’re continuing on with the delusion, this time turning politics into an even crappier version of a reality TV dating show to appeal to the lowest common denominator of easy distraction of the well-conditioned majority public voter.

Der leodar, acting in the default role in response to a pandemic, feigning moral backbone for weeks while never missing an opportunity to answer a pr-spin / media / photo opportunity or have the media itself lay silent with collusion and apathy as everyone forgets who and what has been going on.

The pandemic argument is fair enough that as bad as they or anyone else are or could be, the current situation needs maximum focus and politics need to be put aside. The only problem is, the priority of the public good as a whole has been put on the back burner for anywhere from the last four years to the last century. Take your pick.

You’re now expected to believe he’s reluctant to risk going into government with the other half of the F-f/g duopoly coalition that has ALREADY BEEN ACTIVELY IN FULL EFFECT FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS !!!
How stupid do people have to be to keep buying into this charade?..

Well, it turns out that 50%+ of the voters still don’t know what’s good for them or the country if they are willing to vote for endless corruption and lies and for the benefit of prioritising everything for a tiny minority. F-f//g are a colossal failure for healthcare, housing and climate crisis and half of the voting public are either too mentally stupid, corrupted or both to do anything about it. Fact.

If der leodar, the undemocratically elected failure as a politician and arguably as a doctor(if the hippocratic oath means anything anymore) wants to play hard to get, then why doesn’t he just quit politics and stop pretending he knows or cares about what the job, role, responsibility of Taoiseach and working for the public good requires.

Beyond the left vs right, liberal v conservatime simplistic narrow-minded paradigm, as a voter your support for this corruption is tantamount to you being infected and spitting covid19 in the face of random groups of the public, spreading a virus and it’s damage far and wide because you don’t know any better.

You’re basically ignorant of common sense and you’re playing a part in encouraging all of the most serious problems. At least admit that you believe that people must suffer for other people to gain and you accept that as a natural order.. At least you would be doing everyone else a favour by being open and honest about it.

BTW Here’s the items missing from / not published on the copy shown to media / public…

    8. We must and will spend the next cycle focusing maximum efforts on how to undermine SF making them toxic to the public and turn them against eachother while enough of the fickle simple-minded voter gets manipulated back on to our side once again. – It’s no big deal, it’s just the F-f/g Plan B all over again… MUAHAHAHAHAHA….!… AAAHHH HAHAHAHAHHA !!!!!!!!!!!…..

    9. If morale and enthusiasm is low and we need more motivation, just play our unofficial mission statement theme song mantra and our secret society for the elite and F-f/g party chant…
Kill, kill, kill, kill.. kill the poor… (As usual, always remember to take the words literally…)
