divide and conquer. turn the people on each other instead of holding our idiot government and their advisors to account for badly conceived policy and mixed messaging.
arseache; that’s all you get from these morons.

  2. GiggidyGoo

Lord O’Regan eh. Talking down. Parliamentary correspondent. In with the boys. Maybe he plays golf as well.

The one thing all of this has done is to show the authoritarian mindset some people have. They don’t just have a disregard for the liberties of a democratic society, they have a contempt for them. And the irony is- they usually consider themselves to be liberals.

Orwellian nonsense. Calm down! You are on here day, morning, noon and night like a deranged soothsayer and quack peddling any and all kinds of nonsense. Go try live in China and dissent, try Russia and dissent, try Saudi Arabia and dissent and then get back to me.

You have got WAY too much time on your hands and not enough perspective- in fact zero perspective.

Perhaps people are more concerned with the well being of their loved ones than the income of publicans

      1. Orla

I find it interesting your comment try’s to highlight your empathy by emphasizing your care for loved ones while lobbing publicans with families out the window, the authoritarian persona in all its glory.
What about their well being every other flu season ? What about the well being of loved ones with cancer having appointments delayed and a host of other medical conditions?
What about their well being relative to rising crime because of job losses?
What about their well being relative to social isolation?
What about the well being of people living in authoritarian countries, suppose they are kind of alive, they should be grateful.

Ah sure it would never happen here, it’s all temporary measure, be grand, we are special……

      2. SOQ

Actually I am more concerned about those who’s treatments have been postponed or cancelled because of this nonsense- and the subsequent suffering and deaths which are guaranteed to occur.

I am not having a go but I do find it strange how empathy is only directed towards one group of people in this scenario. There is a LOT of others in crisis too- but all of a sudden they don’t seem to matter.

    3. Orla

Well said, it’s nauseating to realize how many authoritarian personas we have here, Australia has always had a similar problem, it’s a mental health issue, it’s extreme rigidity of mind.
The Covid cult are doubling down now the cult dissonance is kicking in, they are foaming at the mouth for a few deaths this winter that can be pinned to covid with a PCR test/horoscope , without covid what excuse do they have for their authoritarian persona ,they need this, it’s like a drug for them at this point.
It’s the beginning of a narrative to undermine the constitution in my opinion, it’s no surprise golfgate woulfe of the big boys club is being pigeon holed into the Supreme Court.
It won’t be long before the narrative of constitutional change becomes a talking point in the name of faux humanitarianism.

Orla is back with her buzzwords and obnoxiously verbose comments telling the rest of us how wrong we all are

        very authoritarian of you

My favourite was “Hegelian dialectic,” that was a v common one and very entertaining.

          1. E'Matty

eh? You couldn’t understand what hegelian dialectics are or..? If that’s over your head, no wonder you’re having such difficulty wrapping your head around this current reality.

          2. Commenter #1

You misunderstand E’Matty. Orla went through a phase of describing every second thing she encountered as a hegelian dialectic.

            It was endearing.

      2. Kolmo

Orla, dearest, you may need a hobby, whittling figurines or learn to play a flute, something to distract from the impression some may get that your utterances are decoupled, paranoid gibberish combining a rejection of observable reality.

        1. Orla

The defeated authoritative personas in all their glory, hair pulling is all that’s left for the covid cult, science is not allowed.
The only flute being played is you, your vacuous cerebral cave is the perfect amphitheater for it, we can all do ad hominem, no thinking required.

      3. Cú Chulainn

Always noticed that about Australia Orla. A Schizophrenic country. One half descended from criminals and the other half from prison wardens. Now they are all mixed up so that split lives in each person. Just terrible to have to deal with.

Pointless telling you to toddle off alas. No doubt you’ll be here lurking around in the wee hours furiously typing into the void. I see you posted a 03.41 in the morning! Guffaw.

PS – Nobody, literally nobody, cares about your or indeed my opinion. cc’ing SOQ lol.

  5. Janet, dreams of big guns

if they decide to fire everyone or suspend their wages too well that’s fine,
PUP is NOT unemployment, it’s a compensation for not being able to do your job because of a governments decisions, why should you be treated like a lower class citizen ?
This mindset is what is wrong with this country, a bunch of mean spirited gits

  6. Fergalito

    Gawd … such overblown nonsense.

What’s wrong with anyone having a disregard for the liberties of a democratic society in a democratic society?
