    Charger’s Vax Facts™ #54

The UK ‘only ‘ vaccinated 280,852 people yesterday due to bad weather bringing its overall total to 12,806,587.
Ireland’s official total is 230,766, up 11,566 since Friday.

Meanwhile, in other Covid news, remember those reports this weekend about a 68% drop in UK exports to the EU this January ?
Well, the Port of Dover has reported that traffic volumes are back up to 90% of their normal level for this time of the year.
And this despite the requirement for truck drivers to have a negative Covid test.

“ A month on since the end of the Brexit transition period the Port of Dover is pleased to already be welcoming over 90% of the freight traffic volumes typical of this time of year following the significant stockpiling experienced before Christmas “

    http://www.doverport.co.uk/about/news/traffic-continues-to-flow-smoothly-through-the-por/13575/

In reality, the 68% drop in exported goods in January was a combination of Covid restrictions, cautious stockpiling before the 31st in case of No Deal, and learning new systems.
Yup, we’re still waiting for those queues in the M20 stack in Kent that so-called trade experts on here were predicting.
They could start by learning the difference between exports and goods.

Good evening Kate, I wonder when you lay down your head at night do you ever think of those 39 Vietnamese who lost their lives in a lorry. Clearly you don’t, because any human being with any shred of decency in them would not use the awful circumstances of their death to joke about. What a disgusting excuse of a person you are.
You clearly find counting comments about you on here more important than the lives of those poor individuals. Can you stop and think about that fact for a moment? The sad reality is that I don’t think you can. You’re a horrible racist and narcissist. How you can sleep content at night beats me.
I know others on here tell me to stop replying to you, that responding to you only adds to your pleasure in what you are doing. With the greatest of respect to those people I will not stop, posting disgraceful posts like you have is completely unacceptable Good evening Kate, I wonder when you lay down your head at night do you ever think of those 39 Vietnamese who lost their lives in a lorry. You clearly are a very screwed up individual but taking out your problems on the misfortunes of others is pretty low stuff. Shame on you.

Clear signs that Britain’s vaccine success is working through to the public’s perception of the political parties.
Sir Kneel-a-lot struggling to land a punch on Boris.

      Westminster voting intention:

      CON: 41% (+4)

When I looked at this comments section last night you were the first comment i saw. Now this morning it is charger and Joe! How does that work???

      1. Charger Salmons

        Didn’t you know Jason ?
I’m half a dozen people cunningly disguised and unleashed on an unsuspecting comments section by Bodger counting the clockbsit moolah while he’s stroking a white cat and admiring the mayhem he’s causing.
        Isn’t that right Kate ?

        1. Joe F

As well as being extremely selective on what sporting events you comment on Kate, you very conveniently don’t comment on your disgusting racist posts. What about those 39 unfortunate souls who lost their lives in the most horrible way imaginable? And you crack a joke about their situation? What a disgusting individual you are. You just carry on as normal Admiral Nelson/Kate/Charger Salmons etc etc. Shame on you.

But you were asking me to reply to you yesterday about something trivial.
And now you’re back to pleading with people to ignore me.
You need to sort your game out old sport because there’s a whiff of desperation coming off your posts.
Consider yourself schooled and I’ve let you off lightly only because you don’t know any better.
            Bless.

Opportunities to reduce overfishing, ban bottom trawling, and declare more marine conservancy areas?

Has any regular reader out there ever watched that Mel Brooks movie ‘The Producers’ recently?
    – Does it remind you of any website that you regulary frequent?

Industry experts said that Baron Shellfish, the first lobster-tank business in Europe’s largest shellfish port, appears to be the first big exporter to have announced its closure. Speaking from Bridlington on Monday, where he is in the process of dismantling hundreds of lobster crates, Baron said: “All we have had is bullshit from the government, promises that haven’t been kept. I am winding up the business while I still have enough to pay redundancy to my staff”

seems to be going very well

I could do with a cheap imported lobster now and again. Like oysters this shellfish beefs up the romantic lifestyle.

He says his da would have been furious with the way his family firm and the industry had been treated by the EU and the government. Double barrel shotgun effort he says.
Eh – no. The EU didn’t treat him any differently to any other exporter in a 3rd. country. Same documentation and same procedures required. He just wasn’t prepared.
You can transport live lobsters etc. in specialized vehicles. It was always done by one of the Kilmore Quay companies. to France and Spain. So why isn’t he forming a co-op of sorts to address the issues? Split the costs and hire in professionals to take care of the documentation, and maybe purchase a specialized vehicle between them?
This fellow had 3+ years to plan and get his ducks in a row. He didn’t. His problem is with himself and Johnson, not the EU.

Bloomin’ marvellous 5th day win out in the Bay of Bengal this morning for the England boys.
Beating the No 1 test side by 227 runs on the sub-continent is one of their great away victories.
What a morale boost for a freezing locked-down England to wake up to.
    Marvellous-ometer™ off the scale.

What about England’s wonderful performance in rugby at the weekend? You are so predictable Kate, just like with the deaths (UK 5th highest per million population) and cases, you just ignore anything negative about England. Last year you laughed at the Irish rugby team, then nothing from last Saturday. England managed two whole penalties over 80 minutes.
    Marvelous.

-70% drop in beer sales in Boston, for trump loving Tom’s big game.

“And while Tom Brady, aka The G.O.A.T., was working his magic on the field (again), he couldn’t help his old city of Boston make any positive gains. Beantown was -69%when compared to the 2020 game.”

    down 46% nationally-way to go Brady !

The neurologist who recommended that Johnny Sexton be stood down from rugby for 12 weeks in 2014, due to repeated brain injuries, believes that the Ireland captain has sustained “30 concussions”.
So what is needed is that he knows what he is incurring to make the right decisions. I think that we can hear ‘Yes, I have a risk of developing a neurodegenerative pathology but I want to take that risk.’

    This really is incredibly alarming.

How did England do at the weekend Kate? You were very quick to tell us about England beating India in the cricket this morning but nothing from you about England vs Scotland in the rugby. What was the score there me old mate?

More BAM for our buck. Another 1/3 billion (minimum) added to the cost of Children’s Hospital.
I hope Donnelly has had more meetings with the Committee than Mr. Boo Boo. I won’t hold my breath though.
