    Well, the Port of Dover has reported that traffic volumes are back up to 90% of their normal level for this time of the year.
    And this despite the requirement for truck drivers to have a negative Covid test.

    In reality, the 68% drop in exported goods in January was a combination of Covid restrictions, cautious stockpiling before the 31st in case of No Deal, and learning new systems.
    Yup, we’re still waiting for those queues in the M20 stack in Kent that so-called trade experts on here were predicting.
    They could start by learning the difference between exports and goods.

      He says his da would have been furious with the way his family firm and the industry had been treated by the EU and the government. Double barrel shotgun effort he says.
      Eh – no. The EU didn’t treat him any differently to any other exporter in a 3rd. country. Same documentation and same procedures required. He just wasn’t prepared.
      You can transport live lobsters etc. in specialized vehicles. It was always done by one of the Kilmore Quay companies. to France and Spain. So why isn’t he forming a co-op of sorts to address the issues? Split the costs and hire in professionals to take care of the documentation, and maybe purchase a specialized vehicle between them?
      This fellow had 3+ years to plan and get his ducks in a row. He didn’t. His problem is with himself and Johnson, not the EU.

    Beating the No 1 test side by 227 runs on the sub-continent is one of their great away victories.

    What about England’s wonderful performance in rugby at the weekend? You are so predictable Kate, just like with the deaths (UK 5th highest per million population) and cases, you just ignore anything negative about England. Last year you laughed at the Irish rugby team, then nothing from last Saturday. England managed two whole penalties over 80 minutes.

    The neurologist who recommended that Johnny Sexton be stood down from rugby for 12 weeks in 2014, due to repeated brain injuries, believes that the Ireland captain has sustained “30 concussions”.
    So what is needed is that he knows what he is incurring to make the right decisions. I think that we can hear ‘Yes, I have a risk of developing a neurodegenerative pathology but I want to take that risk.’

    This really is incredibly alarming.
