Good riddance to this useless poser. Looking to the by election, I’d say Hazel Chu is RAGING she dirtied her bib attempting to run for the Seanad recently.

Maybe if you had studied hard enough to become a pharmacist, and had the business acumen to run a successful chain of pharmacies, you too could own five houses – don’t give up hope! There are loads of Springboard courses out there, you could get up to owning at least two.

What.. he gave us incompetence except when it came to co-living and rat hole sized apartments.. he’s going because of the local anger for taking Kielies and turning it into a 6 story co-living sh1t hole

Eamon Ryan is going to be delighted this morning, I bet he puked into his cornflakes :)

Hazel Chu will become his worst nightmare if she seeks election
I wonder what he will do to block her :)

Yes, he came up with that idea all by himself. What do you think?
Ministers are figureheads , no more than that. He has no real expertise in anything. Like almost all of them.
An NGO role that is funded by taxpayers somewhere awaits him and he doesn’t even need to be elected! How’s that for democracy.

What do you think I think, my good man ?
Although murphy did enough cheerleading for co -living, you might be forgiven for thinking it could have been his idea. I did realise he didn’t dream it up on his own, just like he didn’t pitch any tents on any footpaths, doorways or canal banks. have a good day.
One could be forgiven for wondering if he could have taken a different approach to his figureheadship I feel.

Haha! Great headline. I doubt he can do very much for the world. He was fairly useless at his previous job.

he’s a symbol of FG’s housing failures for many, I’d say the more invisible he is the better for them

and I doubt there’ll be any major disruptions or seats changing hands here

    meh

He gave us co living and shoebox houses. 10K homeless. Good riddence .He’s at least smart enough to know he hasn’t a snowball’s chance in tell of getting elected again

Either that, or the new job pays more and will lead to some primo consultancies and boardrooms in a few years.

In 10 years when co-living units are the new ghost estates, these slums and ghettoes should be renamed in honour of their founder Eoghan Murphy.

On the positive side I doubt even FG will be able to find anyone more useless / incompetent than him, so the only way is up.

“in the area of international co-operation, human rights and democracy.”
I’m not fluent in spin but I think this translates to “cushty board position at a mysteriously opaque EU-adjacent NGO”
