if folks bought lasting quality over quantity ( I mean how many leggings do you need ) there would be a lot less wrong with the world,

In fairness, leggings are the new workwear for many people now, so it’s understandable to have a pair for each day as you would have a shirt and trousers.
But your point about buying quality is spot on. The clothes industry is way behind in sustainability terms.
ah I know, I just couldn’t resist a dig at my least likes item of clothing ;)
