Mask Of The Faithful

Um.

This morning/afternoon.

Pro Cathedral, Dublin.

Father Kiernan McDermot says mass wearing a face mask as in-person religious services resume as the country begins to reopen with Level 5 restrictions easing.

No Pastor Artur, in fairness.

Seeing millions living under virtual Martial Law, many deep in the grip of psychosis, judging by the amount of outdoor & in-car mask-wearing, while our real economy is stomped out of existence by the State & the whole shitshow is justified by 116 unfortunate people in hospital, one is left bereft of excuses or rationalisations. This nation should be sectioned & placed on suicide watch, heavily sedated & in a straitjacket, it is clearly certifiably insane, as is anyone who can even consider trying to justify this. We really need some adults in the room, hell, at this stage, a drug-crazed, 16-year-old could do better than this nightmare from Ireland’s FFFG dream-team of the goalie’s Dad & the sock fetishist. Stick a fork in Ireland’s ass & turn it over, it’s DONE.

@ K. Cavan: – How many people do you think would be in hospital, if we hadn’t had restrictions?

how many do you think would? You seem to think that lockdowns have played a massive role in reducing deaths. The evidence does not support that.

I lost all semblance of faith when as a (legal) late teen I had sex with a priest- who then invited me to stay over and meet the others in the morning- so I’m hardly swinging the rosary beads but-

Not allowing old people the freedom to practice their faith is just plain wrong. It is so strange that some cannot see how they are turning into what they rebelled against.
