You can view reports which have logged to date for the four Covid vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, AZ and J & J.
Unfortunately you can’t query the data collectively for all four, only look at each vaccine individually.
But just taking Pfizer alone, from the queries I ran, over 1200 suspected deaths have already been logged and over 70,000 adverse reactions are listed as “serious” (many of which are labeled “unresolved”).
Is this shaping up to be a medical scandal of historic proportions? What happened to the Hippocratic Oath “First do no harm”? In 1976 in the US there was a rushed campaign to “vaccinate every man, woman and child” with a new swine flu vaccine. It ended in fiasco and was halted after 45 million vaccinations and only 25 suspected deaths
f_lawless
It’s not immediately straightforward to use. In case anyone’s interested, I made a list of how I ran one of my queries
1. Find the following section on the EudraVigilance homepage(link above):
‘NEW! To consult the reports for COVID-19 vaccines, follow this link, then click on the letter ‘C’ and scroll down until “COVID-19”.’
2. Click on one of the 4 vaccines listed (Moderna, Pfizer, AZ, J&J)
3. Select the final tab over to the right named “Line Listing” (you may need to click the “>>” icon to get to it)
4. Open the drop down menu named “Reported Suspected Reaction”
5. At the bottom of the drop down menu, click “more/search”
6. In the “Name” dropdown menu, select “Contains”. Type “death” in the text box, remove the check mark from “Match Case” checkbox
7. A list of different values containing the word “death” will appear. Select the relevant ones, leaving out others (eg. “Near death experience”). Click “ok”
8. Then click “Run Line Listing Report”
A list of suspected deaths for that particular vaccine should now be displayed
Cian
Cool – thanks for this.
Have you looked at any other medicines to see if they ’cause’ fatal reactions? Check out “Acetylsalicylic Acid” – dangerous stuff; should be banned.
General Public
Comparing acid to a vaccine, jaysus.
Cian
“Acetylsalicylic Acid” AKA Aspirin.
Rosette of Sirius
1200 suspected deaths?! Wow! Wait till you find out how many deaths were caused by the illness the vaccine provides immunity for!
SOQ
Well what we do know is that all of the vaccines have long passed the previous thresholds for injuries and deaths before they were pulled. It is a scandal in the making for sure.
Cian
Do “we” really know this? Or just a small cohort of Karens on Facebook and Twitter?

What about vaccines for whooping cough, polio, hepatitis and mumps?
Polio is alive and well in India. Vaccine had a success rate of roughly 50 – 60%.

India still had the plague in 1994, so its one of those countries that keeps dangerous diseases alive due to poor sanitation, overcrowding in poor areas, massive wealth divide, well, poverty in general. 1.3 billion live there.
Exactly, developments in sanitation and standards of living conquered polio, not a vaccine.
The vaccines killed millions.

No @General Public!
The Polio vaccine saved millions of lives and saved millions of children from a life of disability. Vaccines work, they are not perfect, but we would not be here in our current numbers but for vaccines. Jesus!

It goes exactly the same for you.
“And remember, it’s not a combination of better sanitation AND vaccines. It’s one or the other. Choose wisely.”
One kills potentially fatal bacteria, one has proven over time to kill millions. Choose wisely indeed.

@SOQ
Are you not gong to take the vaccine? You could make a day of it. Have a nice cup of coffee and a big cake afterwards.
Keep in mind that this is the biggest vaccination rollout in 70 years, and the earths population is multiples of what it was back then, so numerically, more people will die from complications (1 in 7 million chance) due to blue clots and such. Historically speaking these are some of the most impressive, effective vaccines yet produced (except for the Chinese one, its rubbish) quite safe too.
I’m happy that my parents are vaccinated now and they can hug their grandchildren again.
SOQ
I have no reason to take it- I am not in a high risk group. In my case, the unknown risks outweigh the benefits and there is no communitarian argument because you can still be infectious.
Even the whole need it for holidays scaremongering is falling apart because Spain and Portugal are open. But if someone asks me if I am vaccinated I say yes- I had the tetanus jab last year- so I just sidestep something which is actually none of their business.

From one gay man to another I must say that I find it truly desperate that you would lie to someone about your medical status when it can affect the other person. Talk about lessons not learned.

Much like C19 and Fergusons and O Neills hilarious predicted death models.

Difference between predicting something based on incomplete and uncertain data in order to prevent a potentially bad outcome and just pointing at a load of unreliable data and shouting SCANDAL!
f_lawless
The data from the European Medicines Agency’s own database of reported adverse reactions and the majority of entries labeled as having been filled out by a “Healthcare Professional” is a “load of unreliable data”?
That’s surely cognitive dissonance in action. So entrenched in your position that no standard of evidence is worthy of consideration if it conflicts with your existing beliefs. And the only person shouting seems to be yourself, by the way.
Nigel
Pretty sure the cognitive dissonance involved is in skipping over their very responsible and clear disclaimer about these being unconfirmed reports of suspected side-effects. When we have a proper study of confirmed reports of confirmed side-effects, then we’ll know if we have a medical scandal or not, and of what proportions.
f_lawless
It’s clear from my original post that I’m aware these are suspected cases. You’re really scrambling as hard as you can to take a dismissive stance. Given the sheer volume of reported events at this point, don’t you think that a responsible position to take would be to call for a pause on the mass roll out of the vaccines in order to carry out a proper study of the trend? An open letter was already sent to the EMA signed by hundreds of doctors around Europe calling for such a pause. Why are we rushing ahead with the mass vaccination of low-risk groups such as pregnant women in these circumstances?
Nigel
They’re unconfirmed reports of suspected cases, during a pandemic awash with misinformation and disinformation, some through ignorance, some deliberate, you simply cannot take anything for granted. I also note that there have been a number of pauses on distribution and roll-out because of fears of negative side-effects, so clearly authorities are paying attention and willing to take action if they feel it is warranted.
f_lawless
“They’re unconfirmed reports of suspected cases”
No, they’re confirmed reports of suspected cases
“during a pandemic awash with misinformation and disinformation, some through ignorance, some deliberate, you simply cannot take anything for granted”
Why do believe the European Medicines Agency doesn’t have a robust data security system in place and that the individual case reports are awash with fake entries? Is it based on any specific information you came by? If not, then retreating to the above stance is the intellectual equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ear and shouting “not listening!”. Don’t take anything for granted, sure, but don’t invent reasons to dismiss it simply because you don’t like it either.
“so clearly authorities are paying attention and willing to take action if they feel it is warranted”
I don’t share your blind faith in authority. Despite the very limited acknowledgement there is a problem with the vaccines, the EMA is pushing ahead regardless with its authorisation of mass vaccination schemes. Just days ago they approved Covid vaccine use for children as young as 12.
At an executive level, the EMA has had a checkered history, accused in the past of being captured by the the pharmaceutical industry. A series of leaked documents and emails in January of this year in relation to Covid vaccine approval suggested the same problem may still exist on despite supposed reforms.

Ferguson (Imperial college) predicted that the UK would have 500,000 deaths over 2 years if they did nothing.
He also predicted a maximum of 120,000 deaths (over the two years) if they implemented a series of precautionary measures.
What happened?

No.
Here is the report.
Look at the table on page 13.
Bottom left – worst-case scenario (“Do nothing”) 550,000.
Second column (CI_HQ_SD) worst-case: 120,000 deaths. where CI: Case isolation in the home; HQ: Voluntary home quarantine; SD: Social distancing of entire population. Definition of these is on page 6.
If anything, the imperial report underestimated the deaths.
There is more modelling and posing in that piece than in a Right Said Fred video. Conjecture and speculation should be its header- and all because they are using Ivermectin. Speaking of which-
Indian Bar Association Serves Legal Notice Upon Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, the Chief Scientist, WHO
Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, the Chief Scientist at the World Health Organisation (WHO), was apparently served a legal notice by Indian Bar Association (IBA) on May 25, 2021, for her alleged act of spreading disinformation and thus misleading the people of India, in order to fulfill her own agenda, so the plaintiff’s action declares. It is reported that Dr. Soumya Swaminathan deliberately ignored and suppressed the FLCCC and BIRD Panel’s data regarding the effectiveness of the drug Ivermectin, with an intent to dissuade the people of India from using Ivermectin.

We just have dire child protection in this country. Those people should have their names and images on billboards like they do in the states. Destroy their lives. I’ve zero empathy or them.
I know most abusers were also abused but so many times the State fails to stop the cycle.
And don’t get me started on all that extreme violent porn that kids can so easily access now. We need better sex education in school starting from as young as possible. We have to educate kids about healthy sexual and emotional relationships. If the school won’t do it, the parents need to.
I agree. The word “secret” is golden word in these vile circles so talk to your children to protect them.
Otis Blue
So too the child cruelty case on the same page.

Ok so we had the usual cats yesterday but if true, or anywhere close to true, the 2021 nursing home figures quoted by Health Freedom Ireland are shocking. There is a legal disclaimer that rip.ie is not an official source of mortality statistics, but it has been used before and turned out to be pretty much on the mark.
Even if it is only say 90% accurate, the numbers dying dwarfs everything during 2020 and yet, not a word about it in the media- why isn’t this front page news?
If this is true- double the number of people who died in nursing homes last year died in the same period of this. But that doesn’t seem to matter because it is far right what-ever-your-having-yourself types raising the issue eh?
Right and wrong doesn’t come into it so- just morainic labelling.
Bitnboxy
Oh crikey, you are still insisting on the Orwellian-styled “Health Freedom Ireland” outfit as a source of incontrovertible evidence.
No, no and no.
General Public
It’s incontrovertible enough that you can’t counter it.
Unreal how Orwellian.
SOQ
You d realise HFI are the people behind The Healthy Debate stream which has been pulling over 2000 live viewers per session?
But school yard ad hominin attacks is what is really important eh? Sure its just old people and they don’t matter- unless they have died of Covid-19 in which case it will be front page news.
The CSO used rip.ie data in a paper in November 2020. They cited an estimated rip.ie figure of 6930 in Q3 2020 but real figure as 7111 so within the precision range for this sort of analysis.
Nigel
Are schoolyard ad hominem attacks any worse than spuriously conflating credibility with streaming figures?
SOQ
Yes- live viewing figures are a pretty good indication of how many people take you seriously and are interested in what you are saying.
Nigel
But not much of indicator of credibility.
Gabby
The big story is inflation of house prices as a result of a new mortgage rush. Can the government do something to curb inflation? Does it want to?
Bitnboxy
Lol. I think the whole system has been set-up to keep house and urban apartment prices at an inflated rate. I mean, it makes complete sense to have Dublin urban property prices at a rate comparable to London and Paris in a country with the lowest population density in the EU on the fringes of Europe.
While TDs from all parties tend to oppose developments in their own backyards, it’s a bit difficult to take seriously Eoin Ó Broin’s contention that SF will be building these tens of thousands of homes, and selling them to the public for below cost – where? The only time they appear in the ‘papers in relation to new developments is when they are opposing them.
Last time it was private developers building on public land, this time it was not enough services – I wonder what reason SF will choose next time they object to the building of much-needed housing?
GiggidyGoo
Ah yeah. Sure build ’em high, squeeze them in but don’t supply the services. Typical FFG policies.
Mind you, Josepha Madigan FG likes objecting to housing developments. Goatstown being the most recent, but back in 2018 she proclaimed that building housing for travellers in her locality would ‘ ‘a waste of valuable resources.’
Catherine Martin Green Party, too against Goatstown.
Colm Brophy FG likewise, objected to building 500+ apartments in Knocklyon stating that he will never support bad planning or over-development as a solution.
Dig away Rob
Rob_G
This is true, and indeed unfortunate.
FF, FG and the Greens have also actually delivered new houses – when was the last time SF supported a proposal that actually delivered housing?
Nigel
Who is responsible for delivering the services?
Johnny
Since FF crashed the economy FG/FF have had complete and full control of the irish property market in every way possible. That includes “housing” they built this market all by themselves, they own it it’s there’s.
It will result in them losing the next election.
GiggidyGoo
‘Unfortunate’ when FFGr object?
Junkface
Why do Irish Govt’s have such a problem with good town planning? It’s such a pattern throughout Ireland when new developments go up. Our system is a mess, town planning needs to be given a higher priority as it has huge social effects on the families living there.
Bitnboxy
Politicians should be barred from making representations or objections on behalf of residents groups or constituents in respect of local planning matters.
In our political system, PR-STV, a Dáil seat can be won or lost on a handful of votes, so when faced with a strong residents group demanding their local politician row in behind them in objecting to a development, it takes some fortitude to refuse to accede to this “request”. This applies as much to FG as SF.
As a resident of SoCoDu, I can safely assert that residents groups have grown even more militant of late such is their zeal to oppose everything and anything. My own parents who favoured a development in the past or were at least we’re unconcerned about it, lived in fear of falling foul of the local residents’ group going door to door to “rally the troops”. Obviously built-in to the strategy of many residents groups (that incorporate before taking legal action to avoid costs) is the glacial pace of planning judicial reviews (fast-track my foot) so much so that they have nothing to lose playing the long game. Indeed, objecting to developments often gives bored retirees a new lease on life.
Even, if at times, a politician is correct in objecting to a development, I would still like to bar them given the pressure than can be brought to bear by the grey-haired warriors, particularly of south county Dublin.
Johnny
…when crumlin drug dealer Larry Dunne was finally locked up he said….If you think we’re bad, wait till you see what’s coming after us”
he may as well have been talking about housing developers in Ireland post Nama.
It’s just environmental terrorism, the current stable of irish builders are donkeys.
“However, Mr Justice Humphreys ruled there was an issue about whether the project’s proposed surface water drainage system, from which water will flow into a tributary of the river Boyne, constituted a mitigation measure for the protection of an EU site or whether it was just a standard design feature irrespective of any effect on the European site concerned.“
The post nama yank funded developers unleashed by FG/FF are hell bent on destroying the country, this is a garbage, junk,a bad developer who would not dare propose this in a functioning market.
Have you been to the area? A total black hole for services. Mad to be sticking thousands of apartments there with no plans for infrastructure.
We need properly planned development, not any cheap tack from a developer who goes straight to ABP so as to bypass the local council.
Cian
There is Ikea across the road – what more services do you need?

It could do one thing: a heavy vacancy tax that would cover both houses left empty and whole storeys over shops left empty. This is what they do in Paris: https://betterdwelling.com/vacant-homes-global-epidemic-paris-fighting-60-tax/#_
In Ireland a 20 February 1982 constitutional case found rent control was repugnant to the Constitution. It was interpreted by Chief Justice O’Higgins and others; Peter Sutherland was among the lawyers arguing against this.
This case knocked down the Housing (Private Rented Dwellings) Bill, 1981, and said it constituted an unjust attack on the property rights of owners of rent-controlled dwellings.
This is what Article 40 says: “The State shall, in particular, by its laws protect as best it may from
unjust attack and, in the case of injustice done, vindicate the life, person, good name, and property rights of every citizen.”
The case was sparked, The Irish Times of the time explained, by “a group of landlords of rent-controlled properties, and by a single landlord, Dublin solicitor Mr Patrick Madigan, who owns a rent-controlled house in Elgin Road, Ballsbridge”.
(The same article of the Constitution says “Titles of nobility shall not be conferred by the State” and “No title of nobility or of honour may be accepted by any citizen except with the prior approval of the Government” – I wonder if the various Sir This and Thats got the government’s permission to accept their foreign titles.)

Oh God! I missed that earlier, just went back to read it. I wish I hadn’t. How or why would people in a family do this? Sickos, the worst people. I hope the children get all of the help they need.
Even if it is only say 90% accurate, the numbers dying dwarfs everything during 2020 and yet, not a word about it in the media- why isn’t this front page news?
https://healthfreedomireland.com/nursing-home-deaths-2021/
Yeah I wonder why…
Healthfreedomireland… “The rally was jointly organised by Health Freedom Ireland (HFI), a group composed of longstanding vaccine sceptics that says its mission is to provide “impartial information” on the issue.”
https://www.irishtimes.com/life-and-style/health-family/stick-your-vaccine-up-your-arse-the-covid-19-vaccine-the-science-and-the-sceptics-1.4382014
If this is true- double the number of people who died in nursing homes last year died in the same period of this. But that doesn’t seem to matter because it is far right what-ever-your-having-yourself types raising the issue eh?
Right and wrong doesn’t come into it so- just morainic labelling.
Oh crikey, you are still insisting on the Orwellian-styled “Health Freedom Ireland” outfit as a source of incontrovertible evidence.
No, no and no.
It’s incontrovertible enough that you can’t counter it.
Unreal how Orwellian.
Are schoolyard ad hominem attacks any worse than spuriously conflating credibility with streaming figures?
Yes- live viewing figures are a pretty good indication of how many people take you seriously and are interested in what you are saying.
But not much of indicator of credibility.
The big story is inflation of house prices as a result of a new mortgage rush. Can the government do something to curb inflation? Does it want to?
Lol. I think the whole system has been set-up to keep house and urban apartment prices at an inflated rate. I mean, it makes complete sense to have Dublin urban property prices at a rate comparable to London and Paris in a country with the lowest population density in the EU on the fringes of Europe.
Sinn Féin TD opposes building of apartments in his own constituency – https://www.dublinlive.ie/news/dublin-news/housing-crisis-finglas-charlestown-apartments-20712196
You obviously didn’t read the article. Similar to a similar post you made last week. https://www.broadsheet.ie/2021/05/25/wednesdays-papers-84/#comment-2316952
That didn’t go well for you either.
I did, yeah.
Last time it was private developers building on public land, this time it was not enough services – I wonder what reason SF will choose next time they object to the building of much-needed housing?
This is true, and indeed unfortunate.
FF, FG and the Greens have also actually delivered new houses – when was the last time SF supported a proposal that actually delivered housing?
Who is responsible for delivering the services?
Since FF crashed the economy FG/FF have had complete and full control of the irish property market in every way possible. That includes “housing” they built this market all by themselves, they own it it’s there’s.
It will result in them losing the next election.
‘Unfortunate’ when FFGr object?
Why do Irish Govt’s have such a problem with good town planning? It’s such a pattern throughout Ireland when new developments go up. Our system is a mess, town planning needs to be given a higher priority as it has huge social effects on the families living there.
