   And don’t forget their poop. Their adhesive, corrosive, ubiquitous poop! Do you think they will poop on the grass? Oh yes, right where you wanted to sit. But also on the footpaths, right where you want to walk.

   but they do turn into very beautiful ugly ducklings

   their temperaments don’t come in to play if you mind your own business. 100% of people who didn’t approach swans as if they’re their bloody mates have not come afoul of their temperaments.
