I think it’s designed baggy for ease of movement, like military fatigues. I’m sure they have a dress uniform for formal occasions when they don’t have to throw shapes.

But some of them do because they are not stupid and/or willfully ignorant to the fact that there is a worldwide pandemic… and when they are not bashing teenage drinkers…. and/or scrotes… they get to be up close and personal with lots of people in all manner of situations…Of course you could write to the Minister for Justice or even the Guarda Commissioner to remind them that Guards don’t have to to wear face covering when performing their duties… you might even discuss it with the members of the force who you come across on a daily basis… I’m sure they’d feel incredibly enlighten by the information you could give to them… you might even point them to inconclusive studies that suggest that facemasks are useless for viral diseases… you could inform them that they are over reacting and Covid is simply a bad flu… and that all we really have to do is protect the vulnerable…which of course no Guard ever actually does on a daily basis…keep up the good work
