Icelanders no longer need to wear masks or keep a ‘safe distance’ from other people as all COVID-19 restrictions were lifted on Saturday.
From July 1, fully vaccinated visitors with vaccination certificates will no longer be required to undergo testing at the country’s borders.
Iceland is the first country in Europe to lift all of its Covid restrictions.
Minister of Health Svandís Svavarsdóttir said.
“We are restoring the society we are used to living in and which we have longed for.”

Bravo Iceland! It doesn’t suit the BS Covid conspiracy dreamers and unscientific BS anti vaxxers but Iceland is an excellent example of following the science, over 87% of its population has had at least one jab coupled with excellent use of public health quarantine and isolation hotel. Icelanders are justifiably proud of their Nordic equal access health system, I applaud them!
And Iceland produces the best Black metal in all of Europe. Coincidence? I don’t think so. The Power of the Dark Lord himself has blasted the Virus with the Blackened icy hellfire of Beelzebub!
