Street Legal

This morning.

Garda HQ, Phoenix Park, Dublin.

Garda Commissioner Drew Harris (above right) and Assistant Commissioner John O’Driscoll (left) prepare to brief media on Operation TARA, an ‘enhanced anti-drugs strategy’ which will focus on tackling ‘street-level’ dealing in cities, towns and villages across the country.

The war against illegal drugs, unorthodox medicinal supplements and rogue chemists never ends.

God speed, brave guards.

Now get your vax.

Cos prosecuting lads with €4 worth of cannabis on them is far more important than dealing with 999 calls.

The only chance that old man staring intently at his phone while his gut spills over his pants has,is to pursue a bunch stoners and disorganized criminals.

says the middle class person who doesn’t live with dealers outside their front door and the general chaos that comes with that. It’s really the most insufferable take we see so regularly.
It’s a bleedin nightmare and soul destroying

Mandatory retirement ages are put in place in well run efficient organizations for many reasons,to allow a blow in from the RUC to dramatically alter these is unprecedented, this is the very essence of bad governance and power vacuums.

Anyone seen the acting minister ?

O’Driscoll, heads up Special Crime Operations, had retire in June 2020,new retirement date is June 2022. O’Driscoll has been on the force since 1981 and can you image the overtime, this is abuse power by Harris stiffing the state for another few years on the gravy train.

Remember the cop that ‘killed himself’ just before court in the assignation of Byrne,he was going identify one the suspects,O’Driscoll who made a total b*lls that case is yeah staying on a few years, that was his investigation.

Why hasn’t Harris resigned yet is what I would like to know. Did he give a poop at all about those 999 calls canceled and victims left to it on his watch.

If he is not going to resign himself then people should be calling for his resignation.
