Pity they didn’t get the HSE to do this.
Their vaccine rollout, for the majority, has been exceptional.

I spent 4 hours today on hold before I had to hang up. I’m fully vaxxed four weeks and no cert.
A lad from Dublín Airport was on Newstalk the other day saying that it’s a bit of a shambles at the airport.
He did say that they would take the little blue card you got when you got injected.
But, he sounded vague and it might depend on the person you have to deal with at customs.

Looks to not be working out so well for some flying into Malta at the moment. The thought of arriving on holiday and your HSE cert bring rejected, into mandatory quarantine for your holiday. Grim stuff. I feel for the elderly couple mentioned in this article. I can’t imagine the stress this is causing some at the moment.

Ossian Smyth who’s a junior minister said that the card is accepted everywhere in the EU. Its not.
Dublin Airport don’t make the rules or enforce the rules.
