Sitting in an open air stadium with a sweaty mask on your face for 2 hours – whats the logic?

Didnt a recent study show that cloth face masks (and blue surgicals) are only 10% effective?

There is no logic- it’s all about fear and control.

Things were getting too much back to normal you see?

10% effective makes a big different for an infectious disease.

If you have a infection where you infect 2 people (i.e. it doubles) on the 10th periods there would be 1024 infected people. (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32…)

If you have the a infection but people wear masks that are 10% effective where you infect 1.8 people (i.e. it less-than-doubles) on the 10th periods there would only be 357 infected people. (1, 1.8, 3.2, 5.8, 10.5, 18.9…)

Your 10% reduction in contagion leads to a 65% decrease in infected people.

my eldest and his mates (21-23 some vaxed some not) sold their original issue tix to EP back in early summer as the writing was on the wall

a bit of inside info and that jasus awful “pilot” yoke MCD executed sealed the deal in the end

they’ve all spent their summer doing:
    / bar work in Dublin 2/ Belfast & Derry trips / PUP / Euro Festival trips / Wexford / PUP / …

    presently @Creamfields

there’s a lot of agendas flying around with this and I’m looking forward to seeing how it unravels

        +1

I just hope a generation doesn’t lose the one major point to a gig – tis meant to be the complete opposite of “forced”

I can see EP getting the go head… Leo taking credit, and then pics of him at same event revelling with the ‘youth of Ireland’ splashed over the papers the following days…

God it’s nearly all too predictable

    I hope I’m wrong.

I hope you are wrong too, Imagine what might have happenned if thatcher had rocked up to glastonbury back then….or even cameron at creamfields..

EP different crowd, different politician, I imagine he could get chased back out the gap – however I can also see the papers – Loved up Leo Lays it on the line……

spud, I think you’re on the money here. It’s all so drearily predictable. Does he think all these young people will forget about the fact that they have no quality of life now or likely to have in the future and vote for him instead of SF ?
That’s can’t be his plan! Can it?
