Givvus all a break from your political bullpoo will ye? It’s beyond sad having to read you moany drivel every day. Surely there’s other things to do in your life?

      1. GiggidyGoo

Says the proper Charlie who chooses to comment on me, rather than the article about disgusting vile ‘politician’.
        Off with you troll.

          1. GiggidyGoo

Yep, another comment on me. Have you no other occupation than to follow me around? Talk about getting a life.
Nice to know you don’t put forward any opinions about Leddin. That says quite a lot.

          2. GiggidyGoo

It is probably deeper than that – nothing to do with politics at all. I’ve given a link to a newspaper report about someone that Charlie looks up to.

    2. Bitnboxy

I have read it all now from mad auld lad GiggidyGums. I could not think of anything more anti-woman than that ape GiggidyGum’s crap about the HPV vaccine.

Need I also mention GiggidyGum’s utter hostility and invective on here against migrants.

Rancid hypocrisy from a rancid auld lad.

      1. GiggidyGoo

        Scan the code Bitty.
The kellys baby has been abandoned at the kiddies klub once again by mumsie and popsie.
        Bitty.
Odd you never provide any proof of your accusations isn’t it.

        1. Bitnboxy

@Mad auld lad GiggidyGums: Unless one as a BS poster has been living under rock the last few years, one is quite well acquainted with the invective (and worse the suggestive nonsense – your usual MO) you posted particularly against immigrants of colour on here. You are also well aware that I am by no means the first poster to have called you out on this, although I usually give you the response you deserve: you reap what you sow on here.

And, as to your HPV “analysis”, we’ll we’ve had enough running battles to know that you ain’t a fan. And I could not think on anything more anti-woman , far more anti-woman than that idiot above, than trying to sow the seed of doubt about the HPV vaccine.

As usual, your rancid hypocrisy invariably trips you and your deranged agenda up.

Oh and Kelly’s is delightful- what’s your problem with Kelly’s – against that too?! It a fuppin’ family hotel. Lol.

Sheesh! Having to deal with rancid auld toothless hypocrites on a Sunday morning.

          1. GiggidyGoo

Still no links after all these months.
Your closeted, narcissistic life under scrutiny with every post. It won’t be long until you revert to referring to yourself in the third person.
You’re the one that referred to yourself as a kellys baby months ago. Obviously you’ve the problem.
            Bitty please mummy

    3. Brendan

Mr. Leddin is finally being shown up. I really find it disconcerting that people are supporting what he has done and are trying to divert the story away from him. Charlie and Bitnboxy obviously approve of what he has done. So much so that they are attacking GiggidyGoo in order to hijack the thread and to try divert attention. Theres no shame in them.

    4. Nigel

Vile. Take his seat, eject him from the parrty, have the Guards look to see if criminal charges should be brought for harassment. Utterly disgusting. Make an example of him to show the consequences of ths sort of behaviour.

      1. V aka Frilly Keane

But shur’ what new about it
Inherent sexism is everyday for Women
        Especially in the professions
If you’re all really enraged it wouldn’t still be happening
        Daily
Call it out when it’s in front of ye
        Barefaced
And stop with the behind the scenes whispers and DMed he was out of order after another one of your colleagues or one of the lads slags off, dismisses, a undermines a woman for her contributions
        Or her job
Actually any person not identifying as a Man
We all go into the same exam hall and we are all regulated the same

But here’s the real problem with this latest splash re the Green Party’s Brian Leddin
Once again a candidate for election wasn’t fully vetted by those nominating them or by the delegates voting
        Or the supporters ensuring election
Or the media or anyone else using journalist in their twitter profiles
Or even the Party accepting his membership application

And the Greens aren’t alone there

      2. Cian

Nigel, that is a bit extreme.
Based in that article he is guilty by association. He was part of a “private” WhatsApp group where *others* made derogatory comments (and it was a woman that made the c**t comments). His ‘crime’ was not telling them to stop.

And for that you want to “take his seat, eject him from the parrty, have the Guards look to see if criminal charges should be brought for harassment”…. Sounds a bit extreme to punish him for what someone else said in private.

Do i think he in the wrong? Yes, nobody should allow those sorts of conversations. But punish the people that made the comments.

        1. GiggidyGoo

“……apologised on Saturday night for some comments he made in a WhatsApp group he set up in 2017.”

He set up the group. He was therefore more than just ‘a part’ of it. Guilty by association?. No, guilty for setting up such a group for like-minded people to spew their vile bile.
He made comments that he, eventually, apologized for. Yep, punish the people (Leddin being one of them) who made the comments.

          1. ce

Yep, him and those pushing experimental vaccines on people will be in the dock at the new Nuremberg…

Not until we root out everybody who has called somebody … a rearranged c-nut… will the world be safe for our children, the children of Afghanistan, Climate Change will be solved, and the DART will be safe between Harmonstown and Howth…

Use the Ranger Wing to drag them from under the beds where they are hiding

        2. ARK

He set up the group so he was a admin/moderator he had a particular responsibility to ask them to behave.

      1. Bitnboxy

Nice try loon. And which Covid cohort currently and invariably make up the highest numbers in ICU – is it vaxxed or unvaxxed?

Whiff of mad auld lad GiggidyGums of you too.

        Funny that.

          1. GiggidyGoo

Cant wait for your intelligent contribution today. Might even be better than yesterday’s. Coming to think of it – Probably not.

        1. deluded

But that doesn’t make sense- why trust medical professionals now?
Plus the hospital staff is full of vaccinated people- are they not concerned about all that viral shedding?

          1. deluded

            I know right?
I am fully vaccinated as are all my close friends and family so I don’t really have a perspective o this but I worked with a guy recently who recovered from cancer- including removal of parts of his stomach and intestines- 20 years ago, and he says he doesn’t trust the scientists.
We were busy though so I didn’t get a full picture of how that works.

          2. Kdoc

Deluded, your coworker is a complete fruitcake. He doesn’t trust scientists!!! He trusted the medical science enough to allow them to remove part of his stomach and intestines.

          3. deluded

Kdoc, the guy was a top project manager that had worked on 4 continents. He said some stuff about aluminium and aborted babies in the vaccine and cited the case of thalidomide as a concern so I just think sometimes expertise in one field may lead to overconfidence in ones abilities in others.

    1. Cui Bono?

If someone chooses not to take one of these new covid vaccines it doesn’t make them an anti-vaxxer. You have been propagandised to think that it does but it doesn’t.

There’s 1000s of scientists and doctors speaking out about how unsafe and ineffective these particular vaccines are.

One example is the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has declared them “unsafe for use in humans”. This group is one of the main advisors to the WHO.

      1. chris

They’re cowardice will not allow them to see it unfortunately. Among the worst are Reddit (CCP) users, same talking points trotted out over and over again.

  1. Verbatim

That’s not a winning picture in the Sunday Independent, kind of a bit embarrassing really!

  2. jungleman

I think it’s fair to say this Giggidy character has replaced Charger Salmons as the most irritable troll on this site. His sidekick, Man on Fire, a close second.

    1. GiggidyGoo

Really? Is that your intelligent contribution for today! Have a few home truths upset you Tarzan?

    2. Bitnboxy

Mad auld Giggz is harmless really. The hypocrisy is grating though. As is constant Giggz conspiracy that every other poster bar himself must have multiple identities. What I find jaw-dropping, is the fellow behind the Giggz moniker is of relatively advanced years- I’d be gobsmacked if my Dad or any father was Iiving their life bashing the keyboard on anonymous internet comment forums. Giggz more to be pitied than scorned.

  3. Verbatim

A short video on what was left behind, ostensibly, for the Afghan army – 85 billion $ of military equipment, plus bio metric devices/biographical information on Afghans who helped the US over the 20 year period. The video ends up saying that the US Admin has no plan in place to get this equipment back. (I foresee the Taliban selling surplus to requirements back to them at a marked up price).

    1. GiggidyGoo

Come 1st October 2021, and 1st January it gets even worse. One massive problem is POAO goods (products of animal origin). Say you’re shipping confectionary that has been made with a POAO, the composition of that piece of confectionary has to be validated. A Vet certificate must be obtained in many cases. The origin has to be determined. The HSE may have an interest too. No two different products of confectionary will have the same composition. That’s not even mentioning the likes of, say, Bovril.
M&S and the other supermarkets also have the goods that are completely animal (steak etc.) or fish origin. A massive headache.
Likewise goods coming from the UK into the EU. Some trucks are being held for days, even weeks on end at Dublin awaiting documentation.

      1. Bitnboxy

Lol. At least you were paying attention at the Customs Information Session GiggidyGums. Probably above your pay grade though.

Still, like the much trumpeted new UK Products Standard to replace the EU CE mark, there will be more delays and obfuscation from Boris and Co. as the grim reality now begins to dawn. Brexit sounds culturally good but alas it has a very boring profound economic reality which Bozo simply refuses to acknowledge.

        But Global Britain!

        1. GiggidyGoo

Everything you write drives home your issues. Bitty. You’ve as much clue as your heroine, Bacik.

        2. Slave to the Rhythm

I am sure it’s just a couple of bookmarks saved in their Favourites and every time something intelligent looking needs to be said, it’s a copy and paste job…

    2. Bitnboxy

Lol. If you read the Daily Mail dross (an admission that the penny has dropped that Brexit has consequences), it’s just a call for alternative arrangements and equivalence.

Hello 2018! Back to the Future.

      The Brexit panto continues.

  4. Rosette of Sirius

Enough of all yer oul nonsense here this morning. Superstar Jason Smyth has done it again… if ever a fellah deserved an open top bus homecoming, it’s him.

    1. scottser

      Absolutely.
And I have to say, reading this mornings comments was a waste of time. Bitty and giggs really should get a room.

      1. Rosette of Sirius

They should be mortified with the their nonsense. No way for adults to behave at all. It’s the online equivalent of a schoolyard spitting fight.

        It’s now ‘out-Journaled’ the Journal.

        1. Paulus

D’ya know what the Olympics should do?
Create a new sport: Flinging Poo.
          T’would be unprecedented
          We’d be well represented
          By Bitnboxy and GiggidyGoo.

          1. Rosette of Sirius

Whatever about the working week where you’re notionally paid to be productive – if of course you have a 9 to 5 job – and you’re on the doss… well that’s one thing. But japers, spending your entire Saturday and Sunday at this idiocy is just incomprehensible to the likes of little old me. What’re yis at lads?!

    1. Rosette of Sirius

Lovely post V. And nice to see you here a bit more these days. Despite it all. I’m glad to see you a bit more active.

Anyways, Many years ago I had a crack at this sorta thing with a woman I was dating who lectured at the NCAD. Was massively therapeutic and rewarding. Great fun too…

    2. ce

I can imagine the internal monologue in Art School…

“That Jackson Pollock guy thought he was great… they ain’t seen nothing yet”

      1. Janet, dreams of an alternate universe

Is the internal monologue in engineering when will I ever have any fun ? ;)
Touchy I am, yet people always underestimate how competitive and how much work it is in the arts and yet how rewarding if it pays of, talent is part but practice, determination and bravery are such a huge element

        1. ce

Don’t get me wrong, great stuff altogether…

In any event, I think the the internal monologue in most things is when will I ever have any fun

  5. realPolithicks

Christ this website has descended to the depths, the same old cranks taking potshots at each other day after day. Why not just setup a whatsapp group and be done with it.

  6. SOQ

Nobody mentioning the Pat Spillane outburst on this Sunday?

Goodness- GAA TV drama llama. That a team where some have refused the clot shot should have an advantage, is telling.
