Why can’t we have data centers that power themselves (or for the most part power themselves)… what century are we in… imagine changing planning laws so that they work…
Well we cannot eat computer chips
There are so many activists for so many causes around the country that are all pretty close to being the same cause. We need them to coalesce into a proper political movement, and the Greens as they are currently operating are far too conciliatory and middle-ground about their approach. They can point to an acheivement here and there, but they’re utterly dwarfed by horrifically bad policies. We need something that is willing to kick in doors and knock over furniture, plitically speaking. As the damage worsens, the need to be radical increases.
If only we had someone to rattle a few cages

Yes because being an extremist always leads to a good result. History has always shown that.

Excellent.
Check out the protesters instagram page, and other media sites for more info on their important work against data centres.
protestors are energy vampires
Data Centres are vital to the economy, it’s unfortunate but the General Public will have to shoulder the burden of Carbon Taxes and possible Brown-Outs to offset their operation.
The data, handled by said data centres, is both generated by and requested by the individual consumer. If we started printing those 700 holiday snaps and what we had for dinner on chemical papers using synthetic inks would they be happier?
Brown-Outs?
Flith.
