    Sunday amnesty? Self reflective posting not connected to ‘topical’ events? Ignoring the obvious gas craic trolls and welcoming old heads giving an update on how they’re getting on?

    I tried to avoid amazon but… Now I know can’t even whittle without a manual. Discuss.

      The same with trying to not use your phone/internet . Take up hobbies but I am still going to you tube for help or instruction/ideas . Trying to figure is it a tool to help or am I just losing my ability to use my initiative .

        Hard to find something that just happens organically when the word organically is most likely somewhere in my algorithm and I’m looking for something different using it. Good shout.

          is the solution to remove ourselves from technology and does it make a difference if most still use it. In which case are things happening organically if we are still influenced by those that use it. I don’t have any answers but would welcome your thoughts

        I think using YouTube to learn is an acceptable caveat. There’s some great tutorials on a myriad of subjects that may keep your interest keen.

      I try avoid top 10 or best of lists…but secretly before dropping a band/author/director due to mass appeal or new found popularity,feel superior for ‘liking’ them first,yet hate people who say cringing things….oh I liked their early stuff……

    The latest season of Covid the drama series is shaping up to be a right bore. Same old tired plot lines used over and over. At this rate, they’re in danger of losing even their most loyal audience. I’m still hoping that maybe Enda Kenny will emerge from the shower and we’ll all get to sigh with relief. Ah, the whole thing was just Pamela Ewing’s bad dream.

        What motivates f_lawless is exactly the same as the rest of us- that this BS just not make sense.

        They make up rules and restrictions which are beyond stupid and now, are imposing discriminatory passports with zero empirical evidence that they make the slightest bit of difference.

        They are going to sack health care workers whom have most likely been already exposed to the bloody thing and, inject an experimental gene therapy with no long term safety data into innocent children.

        That is a pretty good motivation I think.

        Now Bisted- what motives you?

          Jesus, was told Broadsheet was filled with beauty therapists who “did their own research” but this is gas. I suppose the jabs are a front for a shadowy new global order led by a secret elite?

            It is experimental because it was never used before and it is most defiantly a gene therapy- is it that you don’t like factual description or something?

      South African medical association says Omicron variant causes ‘mild disease’.

      “It presents mild disease with symptoms being sore muscles and tiredness for a day or two not feeling well. So Far, we have detected that those infected do not suffer loss of taste or smell.       No matter what your position on this whole thing is- surely you must be wondering why the main media is so determined to scare the living daylights out of people- what is in it for them?

    Vicky Phelan truly is kind and magnanimous; I don’t know where she gets her strength from, especially considering how Holohan is so unquestionably inept and sociopathic in his [so called] professional role as CMO of Ireland.

    I certainly wouldn’t be smiling, nor would I be wearing a RTÉ pyjamas – but each to their own.

    Nonetheless, my thoughts are with her and in her bid to legislate for medically assisted euthanasia – bodily autonomy doesn’t begin and end in a someone else’s mind, it’s the choice of the individual taking the decision – and it should be.

      Euthanasia seems like a terrifying concept and a slippery slope to eugenics

          My point is nobody is stopping anyone from putting an end to themselves,
          But assisted suicide by definition means including others in the act of doing away with yourself.
          That I have a problem with , well to be honest I kinna have a problem with people feeling the need to do away with themselves aswell.

            But it stands to reason – if I’m a live and live kind of guy – I’m also a die and let die sort. It’s not my business what consenting adults decide is best for them

            If I get to a certain age and can’t care for myself I want to feel free to go, my parents feel the same, my Mother plans a walk in the nuddie in the Scottish Highlands in winter ( the drama ). Nursing homes are NOT an option on pain of being haunted.

        The woman is terminally ill and has championed her cause when most would have just gave up- is that really the only thing you can say?

        I only hope that if and when my time comes to face such circumstances, that I have a fraction of her strength and bravery- she truly is an inspiration.

        Yeah well- a cynical mind might conclude that most of those people interviewed are exactly the demographic who reads their newspapers, and to continue to deny the validity of anything other than the official narrative, is no longer possible.

        Interesting that only one speaker was named and despite giving a rousing speech, Dr. Vincent Carroll was never.

      They’re trolling us now – from Wikipedia;
