Last night.

Zero Covid enthusiast Antony Staines (top), professor of Health Systems at Dublin City University, suggests relaxing close contact rules remains “risky” for scary, if unspecified, reasons.

Cases in Ireland are up 30,220% since the mask mandate in August 2020 and well over 4,000% since vaccine passports started in July, so get ready for experts and politicians to purposefully ignore reality and keep pretending mask and vaccine mandates will “end the pandemic” pic.twitter.com/E5rJ2XJRLj

Well done boris
david, you really should get a keyboard that does full stops. they’re a revelation..
“We don’t know” and “we don’t have” is what I’m hearing from Anthony’s lips in that. Well, if he doesn’t know at this stage maybe that’s a sign he should just finally shut up. The man looks in a permanent state of angst, and is only too delighted to share it with all of us.
permanent angst is all the rage these days
Is there an award for worst bad faith argument? Ian is a solid contender.
Is he aware that since he was born, the effects of climate change have become more noticeable? Maybe he’s the cause.
It is bizarre that he can post and some people actually believe the BS.
Try focusing on the ball, not the man.
What have I done now? Apologies anyway, I’m usually guilty of something.
He did give me a chuckle when describing our rules as a “variant” of UK rules. Virus virions sail through the weave of masks like flies through chicken-wire & I’m pretty sure viruses are immune to vaccine passports & the rest of the nonsense these failed scientists are promoting. This guy is an academic, not an actual scientist, his bio on the DCU website weirdly switches from third person to first person, halfway through.
