Our placeholder Taoiseach has spent the last year decimating the hospitality and entertainment industries, and he has the gall to open one. I don’t think the Irish people will appreciate the irony of that. His feeble attempts to rescue a legacy for himself and rehabilitate his image in the last few months left to him will backfire. As an aside, that music centre is brilliant. They’ve done a really good job on it and it’s been such a positive addition to the community.
