Why did they use a retired Chief Justice?
We saw that coming alright, but worth the wait to watch the boys Andrewing.
All hail the new anti-restriction heroes!
Bahahahahaha!
Just a quick reminder…
A bunch of some of the most self serving shams in the country got together during the worlds deadliest pandemic since spanish flu… and they weren’t concerned for their own safety, …let alone the rules.
Now that’s what you call New Normal.
If you don’t get it now… . .
Jail maskless granny, let the lads saunter off..
Does that mean Dara and Phil get their jobs back…
…sure they already have those pensions…some new ones will be found…
Probably.
Meanwhile these are the latest scenes from new york…

That was worked for Mairead.. who knows how to use a gun..
Tantamount to official acknowledgements that many lock down measures were neither necessary or proportionate…. And to think only Michael McNamara dared query them at the time
This was mostly a bunch of backbenchers and numpty independents.
I’m delighted for them. They put up a good defence and were public enemy number one for almost no reason, doing very little wrong and possibly even completely unaware of their wrongdoing. This whole thing was a witch hunt from start to finish and I know that all the anti government folks on here will salute this correct decision.
Ha!
Hopefully everyone will be just as considerate when Boris is cleared of any wrongdoing.
Hello, is that a porcine flying object ?
No you’re looking in the mirror

Ah now MAD, “They put up a good defence and were public enemy number one for almost no reason, doing very little wrong and possibly even completely unaware of their wrongdoing”
Only bit I could slightly agree with is the doing very little wrong.
All the restrictions were garbage and twaddle, not fit to be adhered to, by anybody.
Problem is when you have a government policy of “rules for thee and not for me”, words like hypocrite spring to mind and that is not great for public office.
Selective enforcement of regulations, for a deadly virus that really only poor people should worry about.
Safest thing to do in a Pandemic is look smug and drink Champaign, the virus has no recourse, possibly even better than Ivermectin if consumed in sufficient volume.
I am going to fill my cellar with sparkling wine, ready for the next variant…
We are being mocked and I find it offensive.
‘ Champaign ‘ ?
Sparkling wine ?
You poor thing.
Oh! You pretty things.
Don’t you know you’re driving your Mamas and your Papas insane
You’re a good guy Gerry
When are we going sailing with your well stocked cellar?
Take it from me old son – you’re trying too hard.
Less is more.
All you’re doing now is occupying the Papi vacuum.
Hairpin Henny
Reading this makes me ill, upset and angry.
Yes Sailor Gerry’s misspelling of champagne upset me too
…I feel your paign Steph…
The Defence teams were the best of the best, that were available
They did their jobs very well
Absolutely
And a proper Judge
Only ever one outcome
I was thinking that also V. How did they get a serious judge to a District Court case? Who makes that decision?
At a guess. So you’ve been warned
I’d say Mary Fahy wants to stay where she is there on the DC Bench
Like (I won’t name as I have connected matters in front of him at the moment)
In the HC
After Caroline Costello (now Appeals) – ok I have a bias, nonetheless
Is the best Judge in Ireland
Judge X is far too valuable where he is,
I would trust him with my life
And I have reason to swear on that
As a by the by
IMO
Criminal charges were never going to stick
So maybe the DPP was being helpful and being politically strategic at the same time
Victory for the entitled ones.
