    He’s some clown, clinging on to the restrictions like a good little Marxist authoritarian. His BS about kids being hospitalised by omicron is nonsense. They are all kids testing positive but not being treated for Covid. They are in hospital for completely unrelated reasons. No kids are becoming seriously ill with Omicron. Even Fauci has said the same re US hospital admissions for kids during the Omicron wave. Stop your lies ya little globalist mouthpiece. Murphy stands with the global financial and corporate ruling class but pretends to represent ordinary people. Life will be even more unaffordable for ordinary people if Murphys position on Covid or climate change is ever government policy.

      Can we take him seriously on anything? – he’s just another of the ‘opposition’ who moan about everything, all the time – throw in a reference to the unions and the ordinary workers and answer every question with ‘tax the wealthy’ and he gets voted in again, and on and on rolls the gravy train for Mr. Murphy and his ilk.

    Anyone on here know if there is anything to back up the claim about the surge in recent child hospitalization due to covid. Tomas Ryan said the same thing recently but I cant find out where they are getting this.

      There were kids in the Covid hospital figures but they are all in for completely unrelated issues and simply testing positive. It’s the usual deceit with stats we’ve come to expect from our politicians and health officials when trying to push their narrative of fear. Murphy here deliberately instilling fear in parents minds to progress his Marxist big government control over all aspects of life agenda. The man’s an absolute traitor to the working people of this country.

      Problem is, Jo, the Government did make it up. Stating that kids who “test positive” for tiny quantities of RNA in their snot have Covid is not a misinterpretation of test results or a bit of fiddling with the figures, which is what they to do when they see any figures, it’s them telling the public a complete lie that they know damn well is a lie.
      Why would they do that?
      Because they want to kill kids, simple as that.

    Really, what’s the point of The Left now?     ‘”Widespread societal resistance to COVID-19 is the main route out of the epidemic,” the ministry said in a statement, citing infectious disease authorities.

    “To achieve this, as many people as possible need to be infected with the virus as the vaccines are not enough, even though they provide good protection against serious illness,” it added.’

    Iceland being one of the most highly jabbed countries in the world, it’s a tacit admission of Covid vaccine failure. Seems to me like a vindication of what experts such as Geert Vanden Bossche have been saying all along – that the repeated injection of populations on a MASS scale with a product that apparently gives narrow-band, short-lived immunity but doesn’t stop transmission was never the way to go and would more likely lead to ruin the further down that path we went.

    Now the Icelandic authorities seem to be pinning their hopes on naturally induced immunity still being able to provide the way out of the pandemic despite all the mass injection that’s already gone on. Perhaps the Irish authorities have also concluded the same but aren’t about to openly admit it?

        A prevailing narrative that has been pushed by the likes of the WHO and various world leaders/ global policy makers since around the first half of 2021 (and still continuing) is that “the pandemic won’t end until the whole world is vaccinated”, that “we’re in a race against time to do so in order to stop the emergence of new variants”, “no one is safe, until everyone is safe (ie. injected)”. It was always pseudo-scientific nonsense driven by the hubristic delusions of technocratic elites.
