        All I was doing was pasting his own ridiculous comment (without any amendments) and pressing him to back it up. Fine, I did the same thing a heap of times but SOQ, and others, should not get away with posting utter falsehoods day after day. Which is worse, SOQ posting blatantly false statements or me for calling him out on it?

        As you know, Bodger, I’ve been commenting on this site for many years. I’ve watched it descend from an on-the-level progressive, decent website into a haven for cranks, the alt-right and just generally not nice people. The worst I’ve seen of this is SOQ’s disgusting support for Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

        If SOQ has no problem with the bombing of schools and hospitals and the murder of innocent women and children, then I’m sure he can take a few nasty comments on broadsheet.

        I’m not sure why you’ve chosen to change the editorial line over the past couple of years but it is a real shame.
