Via Mark Steyn @8.26:

‘It was just another government racket for 37 billion pounds of UK and COVID relief money was filched by fraudsters. For purposes of comparison, that’s a third of the NHS total budget, a third of the NHS total annual budget fetched by COVID fraudsters.

“Hundreds of footballers and other athletes have died of heart attacks after getting a COVID shot, hundreds of guys dropping dead often on the bench in the peak of condition. There were figures suggesting as many as 20,000 residents of the United Kingdom may have died from the vaccine. Suddenly, there’s a lot of unexplained excess mortality around among the young and middle aged including minor trends of 52 year old celebrities dropping dead in Australia.

“This is a public policy scandal.”

Between it being GBeebies and Mark ‘warmonger’ Steyn, I had to refrain.

My brain already has to deal with plenty of nonsense in the comments section, not a chance in hell I would subject myself to one hour of the worst news channel besides Faux news and then that idiot.

      1. K.Cavan

No, Ian, you don’t have to “deal with any nonsense” at all. You know what to do, do it.

        1. SOQ

But people like Ian feel that if the site does not fit HIS politics or HIS ideology then the site should change you see. There is no possibility of him being wrong- ever.

  1. SOQ

How can anyone have faith in these medical “professionals” arguing that children should be given this unsafe medication on the grounds of transmissibility- when at this point the evidence is crystal clear that they neither prevent not reduce infections?

They should be struck off and prosecuted.

    1. Daisy Chainsaw

You don’t trust doctors, but you’ll trust Gammony Bigots and some twitter rando?

      Why doesn’t that surprise me?

      1. SOQ

I do trust the doctors- very much so- just not Pharma prostitutes whom are willing risk children’s health and lie to sell a dangerous medication.

          1. SOQ

Stick to making unfounded smears about independent journalists.

            Oh- and doctors on twitter.

          1. SOQ

I would trust doctors like Marcus de Brun and Pat Morrisey every single time before those crooks. If that is confirmation bias then yes, absolutely.

    2. RuilleBuille

It has only ever being claimed that the vaccine reduces the severity of the virus.

The only claim that the vaccine prevents or reduces numbers are made by the anti-vaxxers so they can later knock this false claim .

      1. SOQ

Absolutely not true- I am not going to waste my time digging out examples of those charlatans claiming CoVid-19 vaccines prevented transmission, but the internet is littered them. Go look for yourself.

Interesting point is that the manufacturers themselves never claimed that- but the governments and media mouth pieces certainly did.

          1. SOQ

The original sales pitch was to ‘stop the spread’- has the historical revisionism begun already Cian?

          2. Cian

I’m not sure what you are blabbering on about.

The manufacturers claimed, based on their trials, that the vaccine provided protection against COVID-19. Nothing more.

A total of 43,548 participants underwent randomization, of whom 43,448 received injections: 21,720 with BNT162b2 and 21,728 with placebo. There were 8 cases of Covid-19 with onset at least 7 days after the second dose among participants assigned to receive BNT162b2 and 162 cases among those assigned to placebo; BNT162b2 was 95% effective in preventing Covid-19 (95% credible interval, 90.3 to 97.6). Similar vaccine efficacy (generally 90 to 100%) was observed across subgroups defined by age, sex, race, ethnicity, baseline body-mass index, and the presence of coexisting conditions. Among 10 cases of severe Covid-19 with onset after the first dose, 9 occurred in placebo recipients and 1 in a BNT162b2 recipient. The safety profile of BNT162b2 was characterized by short-term, mild-to-moderate pain at the injection site, fatigue, and headache. The incidence of serious adverse events was low and was similar in the vaccine and placebo groups.

            Conclusions
A two-dose regimen of BNT162b2 conferred 95% protection against Covid-19 in persons 16 years of age or older.

            @Cian
But their salespeople in positions of authority and supposed knowledge (Government, people like O’Neill, people like Claire Byrne, people like….the list goes on), pushed what SOQ is saying. See my post below. I’ve posted that a number of times now, and not one of the commenters here has discounted what I’ve written. Not one. Yet all happy to let on to be convinced by his ramblings.

          4. SOQ

He knows all that, which is why he is quoting the manufacturers rather than those who done the dirty work- it is disingenuous to say the least.

You would think that with such a long list of injuries alone, these chancers would have some remorse for what they have done- but clearly not.

      2. GiggidyGoo

        @Ruille

Clare Byrne hauled out O’Neill on her show. Now, O’Neill has history saying…

        – He stated ‘Vaccinations are stopping transmission.’ (No they’re not)
        – ‘When vaccination reaches a high level ‘the virus goes away’ ‘ (No it doesn’t)
        – ‘We can prevent Covid through vaccination’ (No you can’t)
        – ‘All of the vaccines, including AstraZeneca, will prevent you getting sick and ending up in hospital.’ (No they won’t)

Those are statements he made. Your last sentence is incorrect.

        1. Cian

These statements were not false when he made them. Except the last one when should have a “for the vast majority of people” at the front. But when people discuss traditional vaccines (i.e. measles/smallpox) they tend to generalise about them.

The results from the trails seemed to be excellent at reducing risk of the original COVID-19 strain.

          1. SOQ

At that point there was zero evidence that they were correct so yes- they were, and are, WRONG.

And if the trails seemed to be so excellent then why was there scientists and medics scream stop all over the place?

  2. Nigel

MARK. STEYN? Christ almighty. You managed to take a step DOWN from Poject Veritas. That’s some acheivement.

    1. Micko

While I agree that GB News is bloody awful. Is the information they are providing from the UKHSA accurate?

Are the vaccines failing to perform?

Here’s it is (apparently) I’ve no idea if it’s accurate.

      https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-vaccine-weekly-surveillance-reports

I can’t be bothered to read / understand it as I no longer care. But, if anyone is still interested in proving their point, I’m sure you will all go though it with a fine tooth comb. ;-)

      1. Nigel

That’s odd. The point he’s making above is that the vaccine is killing athletes by the score and other people by the thousand. Didn’t bother to read/understand that either, did you?

        1. Micko

That’s one of the points he’s making. And one that (like yourself) I would disagree with and agree it is a terrible thing to say without any proof.

Hence my initial “GB News is bloody awful” bit.

I was only presenting the official data and giving an opportunity to anyone who cares (not me) to prove their point about vaccine efficacy.

I’m sure someone will comb through it.

          Aaaaany minute now…

          1. Nigel

So, they’re obviously awful and wrong about everything, but … someting something vaccine efficacy. Ok.

          2. Nigel

What do you care? You just said you don’t, but you want others to do the work that you don’t care about for you?

  3. K.Cavan

The average GP has had one day of lectures on Virology & is entirely ignorant of Immunology, because they’re not Scientists & it shows, if the stupider or more corrupt among them are still talking complete crap about the fake vaccines preventing transmission, which no medical treatment ever invented can do, while engaged in blatant lying to the public about the mortal danger these failed treatments pose to children.
I echo SOQ’s assertion that these people should face prosecution & prison. Any trust in a medical establishment that doesn’t strike these people off is clearly misplaced.
I’m no fan of GB News but childish whining by consumers of the transparent propaganda of RTE, BBC, Ch4, etc, which amount to “GB News says stuff I don’t agree with”, just serves to allow the rest of us a laugh at their expense.
Just put your hands over your eyes, ears & mouths, dearies, like good monkeys. Really, you should stay your fingers while you’re at it, if that’s all you have to contribute. I hope you’ve all signed up for your boosters, they’ll reduce transmission of your bovine opinions, if not any Coronaviruses.

    1. SOQ

I have got to the point where if someone has such strong views on vaccine boosters 1,2,3,4 etc- I’ll even drive them to get it. You can’t fix stupid so why bother trying.

As for the GB whinging- they are so indoctrinated that not only will they will only watch ‘approved’ outlets- as above, actually get hostile at the suggestion that others may not. I’ve seen horses with wider blinkers.

  4. dontbeasillybilly

Wtf is the video of a basketball player getting sick in here for? Are you insinuating this was caused by the vaccine? Are you well in the head?

      1. dontbeasillybilly

But why? It literally describes him as having been ‘punched in the stomach’, do you not think that would be the more likely answer, and you might be reaching to find any evidence that vaccines are bad despite them being proven to be totally safe? Embarrassing stuff.
