the gardai are a spent force. teenagers have been tormenting an old man on my street for a couple of weeks. Trying to steal his car, braking his windows. All because he thwarted them trying to steal his car before, so now they constantly torment him. Gardai have been called and most of the time they don’t even arrive. Once they did and said they couldn’t do anything, and said “theyre only kids”.. in front of the teens.. confirming to them they can do what they want. I can guarantee you if someone took a baseball bat to them the gardai would come down very hard on them.
