Civilian evacuations from the Azovstal steel plant and surrounding areas in the Russia-occupied city of Mariupol continued Thursday night into Friday, with U.N. Secretary General António Guterres announcing the safe passage of almost 500 people.
Russia has continued to strike the massive steel plant, where civilians and a group of soldiers have been barricaded since mid-April. Ukraine said Wednesday it lost contact with the troops amid heavy fighting.
“Russia continues its offensive in eastern Ukraine, where local officials have said civilian centers are still the target of strikes. U.S. and EU support continues to enter the country, and intelligence sharing continues to be a focus after NBC News reported Thursday that information shared by the U.S. helped Ukraine to sink the Russian cruiser Moskva.

I am sure the Russians would agree to that but Kiev will not
Nothing can be proved by more loss of civillian life
Now hopefully every child old and women are out of that hell hole

Innocents have died and many lives have been destroyed from this war
Politicians need to be held account

If he only entered Ukraine recently it would have taken some effort to get inside the Russian ring of steel that’s been surrounding Mariupol for some considerable time now.

Where exactly is the good general at this present moment?
And you can be damn well sure, there are many more “retired” NATO personnel on the ground in the Ukraine. It’s hard to definitively back up, but I suspect that a lot of the high profile Russian losses came from experienced NATO soldiers.
It could turn into an even bigger war if NATO and Russia lock horns, with NATO countries overtly supplying heavy weaponry that is more likely. Realistically, we would contribute absolutely nothing to Nato and make ourselves a legitimate military target. Yet our politicians and officials are hellbent on getting as into NATO.
One has to ask why?

And today on a news station they stated there is 100 thousand civillians trapped in Mariupol
An international team has to go in and investigate this for I am convinced zelenskys strategy all along is to use his civillians for propaganda fodder
Like in Gaza it is used to it’s maximum in the war and so far zelenskys winning that war
Your people are not born to be cannon fodder and propaganda
A governments duty is to protect its people
Evacuate them before they become the collateral damage as each side slugs it out
