No, No, No [Updated]

at

This afternoon.

Hillsborough, county Down.

Via Sky News:

Sinn Fein’s Mary Lou McDonald and Michelle O’Neill did not mince their words, and made clear Boris Johnson’s series of meetings with political leaders had got off to a “rocky start”.

They accused the prime minister of attempting to placate the DUP by bringing forward legislation to override the very treaty Mr Johnson himself signed with the EU – describing it as “scandalous”.

Fight!

Meanwhile…

Says your wan who had a private army
The bullet and bomb kneecapping assassinations and brute force
    Call it what you want
They cannot sit down with their nemeses without bickering to the point the Northern Ireland executive for over 600 days refused to sit and do what they are elected for
    And that’s govern
The UK ALSO HAS THE SAME INSTITUTIONS FOR SCOTLAND AND WALES THAT work out their disagreements while government I’d not shut down
THAT IS SINN FEINS LEGACY JUST LIKE THE UNIONISTS

Yep it really is yawn that so called politicians cannot actually tolerate each other and share power
So let’s just rent the northern assembly out as a doss house

Donaldson’s crowd had three private armies – Ulster Resistance, Third Force and Ulster Protestant Volunteers.

Fact is a border exists between Northern Ireland and the republic
You cannot move a border into the sea for convenience
        The Brits left the EU
Now it’s time the EU comes up with a compensation package for us in the the republic to countrract the gouging on everything from building materials to crisps
        That protocol is defunct

“You cannot move a border into the sea for convenience”
Why not – the border was drawn up for the convenience of unionists.
It no longer serves its gerrymandering purpose.

“Democracy has to rule in the end.”

Sinn Fein President Mary Lou McDonald says an executive must be formed in Stormont with “no ifs, no buts, no conditionality, and no unionist veto”.

I am glad to see this new-found enthusiasm for forming a govt in N. Ireland, as SF did not seem too bothered when the Assembly was suspended for 3 years previously.

      Exactly
The unionists now play the Sinn Fein game
The only thing that changed in the last election was the colour
      Same all sectarian politics
Maybe westminister needs t give them an ultimatum
7 days or we rule Northern Ireland in the meantime
If they cannot sit in the same room it’s time these parties were disbanded

If you’re into history, Rob, which obviously you’re not, you’ll find the reasons are entirely different.

Educate yourself on why the assembly was suspended for three years, not that a little enlightenment will benefit you.

It’s a bit naive to think that the Dup were going to second fiddle to Sinn Fein , we’ll have another election in 6 months time , don’t forget there’s only 1 seat between the 2 big parties

The united unionist front.. they might even win.. enjoy their last 5 years, then it’s all over..
