Elon Musk’s lawyers have written to Twitter accusing it of refusing to provide sufficient information about the number of false users on the service

Elon has started to feel
Unsure about his Twitter deal
So he says they have not
Wiped out the spam bot

Always the plan. Expose Twitter for the sham that it is.

Dude operates on a different level.

That’s a crazy plan that puts his own money at risk. He’s definitely a risk taker though. Either way, it’s good to see twitter get caught out

Still leaves him with 200-odd billion net worth though
        it’s a matter of perspective

He’ll lose the trust of his shareholders if he carries on like this. He only owns 17% of Tesla and this stunt has affected the value of the company.

PHasn’t exposed anything. He won’t be getting further info and he won’t be buying. He’ll owe a billion as a result.

He’s also tanked Tesla’s stock to play games. Could have long term consequences.

And it will take a very powerful man or woman to get to the bottom of this
      And well done musky one

The legalities of the takeover are likely extremely technical and complicated and will take teams of expensive lawyers months to wrangle over. My limited understanding is that he offered to pay X , given that there were so many genuine users and Y number of bots.
If he can demonstrate that the number of bots/fake users is in reality far higher than what was reported to him by Twitter officials when he was putting together the offer, he has a case for walking away or renegotiating.
Regardless, the spotlight being placed on twitters fake, fake user accounting has done the lot of damage to the brand and further highlighted its lack of credibility and trustworthiness as a source of information. The borderline epileptic fits from some woke journalists and politicians has reinforced this.
That in and of itself is a good thing.

I like free speech and freedom of expression, though I wouldn’t place much hope in Musk.
