ITT: The demonisation of anyone speaking against the motion in an academic debate.
Oh come on, BS is hardly an academic ivory tower
Thanks for the chuckle there Don.
So, again…. it’s a man on the anti-womens’ autonomy, or so called “pro-life”, side……
Pro-lifers be pro-lifing
Binchy has been banging that drum for years. He used to be on the tele all the time in eighties spearheading the anti-divorce and to a lesser extent anti-contraception campaigns.
Check out how wrong he turned out to be;

That didn’t take long did it?
What didn’t take long? It didn’t take long…..for someone to provide a video of him sharing his opinions?
You’re such a wet rag rotide
You’re awfully thin-skinned if you regard that post as ‘demonisation’, rotide.
This is becoming the new trope on the social right, that Free Speech demands we all be silent while they pronounce how everyone else must live their lives. Any objections and we’re persecuting them and restricting their freedom to restrict our freedoms. Yawn inducing.
If you seek to rule over other people, expect to be argued with.
FLOODGATES!!!

William Binchy – he’s still alive?
He was one of the main instgators of this. Here he is back in ’83 with Mary Robinson.
Will be interesting to see how or if his views have evolved since.

“evolved”?
Didn’t think those types believed in evolution.
Can’t listen to that Binchy fella. Sounds a lot like that smug pr*ck Simon Harris, although at least Binchy found a suit that fits him and didn’t have to borrow his aul lad’s
Is that Donald Trump on front row in front of lady with loud hailer? He got caught in a shower of rain? Private jet to dublin?
Fiona de Londras has to be pro-choice.
She’s got that annoying liberal smirk – a bit like Laura NicDiarmada.
Birds of a feather etc.
