    What level of narcissism is needed to be able to say that with a straight face?

    As president you go where you are told and sign what you are told. You can have some little vanity projects here and there but I am not sure how exactly Sean or any of the rest think they are going change Ireland with such a ceremonial role? Not a big fan of Higgins but nothing against him either so will vote for him simply to keep Sean and the other eejits off the world stage.

    At least Gemma O’Doherty is out – once I admired her but she has gone full anti vax now.

        Me too, defended her many a time on all sorts of platforms. But reading her tweets now has made me sick that i was duped by her interviews here on Broadsheet where she stated she was not anti-vaxx. Fool me once and all that malarkey.

      He seems to think he’s a great guy all round. Maybe he is, but what exactly has he done to display this innate greatness?

        What has he done in the last 7 years?
        Well, he’s sued RTE (so, us) for €130,000.

          I am not a particular fan, but if a TV station read out a libelous tweet about me, I would probably sue them as well. And I am sure that you would, too.

    I hope for a clear starlit night before 26th October. I hope to look profoundly at the stars and discern contending visions for the presidency. I’ll stargaze thoughtfully before making my decision about which vision to vote for.
