Behold: the Fluid – a top shelf, pedal-assisted electric bike from e-bike manufacturer Fuell.
The aluminium alloy frame contains two rechargeable cells packing 1,008Wh with 100Nm of torque and a 200km range while hub-mounted gears and carbon belt drive (instead of a chain) reduce maintenance.
Yours later this year for just over €2,500.

A guy in front of me this morning looked like he had soiled himself as he had no mudguards on his bike. I felt like I should stop and say something at the next junction but then thought “Fupp it. Let them laugh,”.
For that price, I could buy a motorbike or a car.
yes you could….but you would have to tax, insure, fuel and maintain the car.
Would this yoke not be subject to the same brouhaha as the electric scooter?
No, they are legal.
And it would be a rubbish oul car belching dirty fumes unlike this nifty top end electric bike
yeah, but this is better.
gone in 60 secs if locked around dublin
Like yer ma
Nice.
Belt drive doesn’t reduce maintenance, it prohibits it. You can fix a chain, you replace a belt.
What a ridiculous amount of money for that bike.
No it isn’t, the range is 200km. Typical e-bike at €1000 has a range of about 30km.
Fortunately they come equipped with pedals so you should be all set….
Have you heard of hills, wind, the elderly, the infirm, or bike trailers?
I haven’t, but if you hum it I’ll try to sing along.
“2.7 sec 0 to 100kph”. No, no, no.
