A Lego Creator Expert set featuring the Apollo 11 lunar lander designed in collaboration with NASA: 1,087 pieces complete with separate ascent and descent stages, and a lunar surface with footprints.
Stanley Kubrick minifig not included (but that would have been hilarious, in fairness)
Available next month (the 50th anniversary of the actual moon landing) for €94.99.

With a baby on the way next month, I’m being told that the most expensive times in a childs life is a few months after birth (car seat, pram, nappies etc) and end of secondary school/college. I disagree. It’s when they are 33 years old and want Lego sets like this but have just bought a pram, car seat, nappies etc.
Good luck!
thanks :)
You should get the lego Apollo 11 (Saturn V) moon rocket to go with it.
Its 1m tall lego with 1969 pieces!
…I have it already. It’s great but any room it’s in is now off-limits to crawling babies.
Ha, I’m guessing this is your first. Soon enough all of your “playthings” will be put away safely in boxes…or they’ll be wrecked. Good luck with the baby btw.
