Members of the Gardai and the Garda Technical Bureau at the scene of a shooting which occurred last night around 11pm.
The 17-year-old victim is understood to have been getting into a taxi when a number of gunmen approached and fired five or six shots at him. He was hit a number of times in the upper body, including the neck area. He has been taken St James Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
