The staff could quite easily be infected by their vaccinated patrons too.
Sure according to yourself everyone vaccinated is about to start dropping dead come Oct/Nov. So by this time next year there will only be non vaccinated bar staff and patrons. Yourself, Micko and SOQ will be having a fine time boring the holes off each other at the end of the bar or perhaps you won’t.

The logical conclusion of that argument is we should ban all alcohol and junk food surely? Because the only person he is putting at risk, is himself.
Do you really think that if every pub and every restaurant in the country has unvaccinated people in it then each of those individuals is only putting themselves at risk? Because that is the level that public health policy must be considered at.

What should those who are vaccinated, go on to contract the virus and end up in hospital say?
How about:
“Well this is unfortunate and unusual, but, seeing as I did all I could to prevent this occurring, I know I have your deepest sympathy… and I’ll likely be back on my feet and discharged soon enough thanks to the protection against very serious illness that the vaccine has given me, whereas those knuckle-dragging ratlickers over there, gasping for their last dying breaths, deserve it and more”

Astonishing that people still don’t understand the concept of reducing risk after 18months and also that people still imagine that you can somehow isolate the risk of an infectious disease to just one person.
Gary’s a fupping eejit.
If Gary is let into a pub with his ten vaccinated mates because he doesn’t feel there’s a risk.. Then the same rule should apply to the next lad, lady or otherwise and their ten mates who view the same principle. All of a sudden we’ve two unvaccinated people who have a higher risk of infecting those around them including staff and they will (potentially) have worst symptoms if they get covid.. As well as ten+ unvaccinated people who can still carry and transmit the virus. If he’s unvaccinated there’s also still a reliance on the staff to upholds strict hygiene processes to ensure that the virus transmission opportunity is minimal if it’s exists, so the next patrons can sit comfortably without worry. The ignorance is baffling.
Gary doesn’t care. Gary just wants to assert his constitutional right, granted by the FDA and the CDC, to a pint inside because the weather’s rubbish today.
Don’t forget his Miranda rights or the fifth amendment!
He can exercise these rights all over the ‘world’ in place like New York, Dallas, Boston, Chicago, Tulsa and heck even in LA!

Vaccinated can transmit the virus the same as unvaccinated. There’s no difference. The latest data clearly shows this.
