No mention of them grifting food, harassing and assaulting staff at homeless shelters there? Because only the good guys, the best guys would do that kind of thing, right?

    2. Doxxy Chainsaw

      Also https://ottawa.ctvnews.ca/ottawa-homeless-shelter-staff-harassed-by-convoy-protesters-demanding-food-1.5760423
“One of the people who used services in the shelter was assaulted,” she said. “My understanding is that our security guard was able to diffuse the situation. Unfortunately, that person was subjected to racial slurs from the people who were assaulting the person who is using our services, but they were able to bring that person back to the shelter.”

        Agent Provocateurs blackwashing the protestors.

Everyone else seems to be having fun as the Trudeau runs and hides.

          1. GiggidyGoo

Never mind there Mad. The kiddies klub will re-open shortly. You’ll be back in your happy place.

        1. SOQ

Absolutely- there is a government whistle blower speaking out about that- millions having being spent apparently. Lorry drivers are used to being self sufficient for weeks at a time.

Probably the reason this topic was picked is because of all the images of people donating food to the truckers- which is terrible PR for Mr Trudeau-Castro.

No surprise this story has made such international headlines while others pretraining to possible attempted murder, have not.

          1. No more Maura

Hi SOQ, I noticed you put up a lot of links from tik tok, you should be very careful with that on your phone or computer, it is a chinese company ran by China and all your information can be taken off your phone by them. I bought my daughter a 2nd cheap phone that I make her use in the garden and wont allow it in the house because she just wont listen when I tell her about China. Good luck for the day.

          2. SOQ

Thanks Maura but the same is true of all the social media platforms. I don’t see a difference to be honest- they are all up to no good.

I like TikTok because at the moment it is flying under the censorship radar which is ironic given the location of its HQ- that will change in due course I expect. You can use it on laptop browser and laptop app btw.

Also, it is currently the number one upload platform for activists on the ground and it is very fast at disseminating breaking stories. And, some posts can be really funny- like this.

You spread as a useless idiot right wing misinformation and propaganda-why. ?

-According to the 2016 census, South Asians comprise 18 per cent of all Canadian truckers. In major cities such as Vancouver and Toronto, they make up more than half the industry’s work force.-

-Jagroop Singh, the president of the Ontario Aggregate Trucking Association, said, “Nobody invited me or any South Asian truckers I know. In fact, we don’t even know who the organizers of this protest are. Nobody asked us if we agree with their demands-

Just STOP stating and lying that it has widespread support it did NOT,based on yank disinformation.

            https://www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/article-almost-one-in-five-canadian-truckers-is-south-asian-but-many-dont-see/

        2. Nigel

SOQ and hmm are openly covering up for Nazis and other right wing thugs. Will Bodger’s next convoy update include pictures of swastikas and Nazi salutes?

          1. TheWhiteWolf

They’ll be asking American Kid Rock for a protest song. Canadian protest song writers just don’t cut it these days.

          2. The Millie Obnoxious™

I’m sure you think this ‘potato’ thing you thought up is terribly clever but in reality it makes you look like an adolescent moron.

More fool you and the others who pander to it.

          3. hmmm

“in reality it makes you look like an adolescent moron”

…says the Potato who thinks Obnoxious is a virtue.

          4. TheWhiteWolf

He’s a goddamn degen (degenerate), Millie. And if you are aware of the amazing Canadian TV show Letterkenny, you’d know that degens are the absolute worst of the worst. Even worse than the Skids.

          5. SOQ

You are just going to keep repeating that rubbish now aren’t you? Nobody has told the Punjab Sikhs who are playing playing a very active part in this Canadian protest of course.

Unless you are going to label them Nazis too? Yeah you probably are. The Punjab Sikh Nazis- sounds like a punk rock band.

Must say- I thoroughly approve of their Nazi disco taste in music. Wonder how the heads are after the rave up last night.

            https://www.tiktok.com/@jcw8686/video/7058747273722760454

          6. Nigel

‘Nobody has told the Punjab Sikhs’

Well, you were told often enough, and so were they probably, so that’s on them and that’s on you. Why are you covering for the Nazis and white supremacists? Why are the Sikhs? Do you all think one gay commenter in Ireland and some Sikhs will cancel out the Nazis?

          7. SOQ

There is no Nazi’s in Ottawa Nigel- just pee’d off truckers. Even the carrier of that SINGLE Nazi flag turns out to have thought it was a good way of making a statement about the government- stupid but true.

There is plenty of POC’s involved- so stop projecting your divisive corporate leftism, it is a righteous cause and the majority of Canadians are in unified support.

          8. Nigel

You have Nazi flags and organisers with records of white nationalist statements and connections with other far right groups and the bullying and general thuggery going on and you’re trying to cover it by pointing at some non-white involvement, as if that makes the other stuff go away, and which, given that you are a gay man covering for Nazis, does not speak well of any of you.

It’s a heavily astro-turfed, anti-science, anti-public-health white nationalist crusade, that has featured massive amounts of lying and exaggeration – 50,000 trucks? – Jan 6th on wheels. If that’s your idea of righteous you’ve lost the plot.

          9. Nigel

The same links you do. You just choose to ignore them, because what’s a few Nazis and far right extremists between friends?

‘As for the 50 000 truck’

Do you know how long a line of 50,000 trucks would actually be?

          10. SOQ

So no evidence then- just more waffle and slurs. Have you even watched the videos coming out of Ottawa? I doubt it.

          11. Nigel

I’m sorry that pictures of people waving Nazi flags in the convoy aren’t enough proof for you that people waved Nazi flags in the convoy, or that the links Daisy provided showing the nature of the organisers aren’t sufficent proof of the nature of the organisers. You’re covering for Nazis.

          12. Mad

            Thank you Millie
It is really grostesque that this ugly mannequin is allowed to deface the comments with racist slurs repeatedly

    3. SOQ

It’s still going and is being streamed out on TikTok- and sure why not? It’s not like they are going anywhere for quite a while. Compliments to the boys in the background on the lorry horns- very well timed contributions.

    1. TenPin Terry

Without Djokovic it’s a bit like Ireland beating a 10-man Faroe Islands team whose leading goalscorer was red-carded in the first half.
I know, I know, it’s a silly comparison but would you really bet your hard-earned moolah on Stephen Kenny’s outfit beating a full-strength Faroe Islands.
      Even in a friendly.
      Against their women’s team.
      Their walking football women’s team.
Their visually-impaired walking football women’s team.
Who usually only play in the Paralympics.
      Be honest now.

        1. TenPin Terry

To beat only the best other vaccinated player ?
Will he be teaming up with Banquo’s ghost in the doubles ?
Tbh the only sport I watched was the cricket.
The Windies Jason Holder conceded four sixes in four balls to lose on Saturday then, 24 hours later, takes four wickets in four balls to clinch the series.
          Now that’s a fairytale comeback.

          1. TenPin Terry

            Well she didn’t complain.
Neither did I except when the queue in front of me took ages to move.
Fortunately they were lads from the fire station who got a 999 call.
Managed to get in before the binmen took their place.

          2. GiggidyGoo

You’ve quite a fetish about urinals there Mad. You’re Not someone I’d like to meet in real life. Stalker+urinal fetish is not a good combination.

          3. bisted

…you are quite right, off course…hatred of a religion is not the same as hatred of a person who professes that religion…I however, have succumbed to the latter…in fact, from my original comments, I claim to hate catholics even more…a bit irrational I know…a bit like you and muslims*

*except Uigars who are a great bunch of lads…

          4. GiggidyGoo

Quite a difference when you’ll have an extremely difficult time finding any post I made about hating muslims. You on the other hand have a nice fresh post about hating protestants.

Why do you hate them bisted?

          5. Mad

            Oh MAN
            It’s toilet scrubber Giggidy everyone
A legend in her own cab, like that ballad singing trucker a while back.
            Scan, ya?

      1. Mad

It would depend whether Irishman Brian Kerr was the Faroes manager, a bit like when England go to bat without Irish skipper Eoin Morgan. How IS the ODI series against the West Indies going anyway?

        1. TenPin Terry

What part of ” takes four wickets in four balls to clinch the series ” do you not understand old bean ?
Multi-millionaire Eoin Morgan is very highly regarded as one of Ireland’s greatest-ever sportsmen playing for cricket teams around the world.
But ignored in his own country.
If only he played with a different piece of non-English wood.
          Or a bigger ball …

    2. TenPin Terry

Only messing Tom but you know that.
Nadal is a great player and it sounds like it was a excellent game.
A tussle with Djokovic would have been interesting but any international sportsperson considering crossing multiple borders and continents without being fully vaccinated is an idiot.

New Scientific Study finds that the Covid-19 Vaccines are causing a new form of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome

A new scientific study conducted by Dr Peter Mccullough and other leading scientists has concluded that the Covid-19 vaccines are damaging the innate immune system… that the fully vaccinated are developing some new form of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome induced by the Covid-19 injections.

    https://dailyexpose.uk/2022/01/30/new-study-finds-covid-vaccines-damage-immune-system/

      1. E'Matty

Poor Mad. Bit of a bummer finding out on a Monday morning your immune system may be severely compromised for the rest of your life, eh? Not us though. We’re 100% protected against all potential vaccine harm. And, we survived the deadly plague completely unscathed. Indeed, we now have an enhanced immune system.I think that’s what they call “winning”. Sucks to be you now. Everything will become a potential threat to your life. Let’s chat in 3 years time.

        1. Nigel

Being unvaccinated is the single biggest covid comorbidity. The majority of unvaccinated covid hospitalisations are reinfections. You’re self-mythologising.

          1. Micko

“Being unvaccinated is the single biggest covid comorbidity.”

More than cancer, chronic kidney disease, diabetes or hypertension Nigel?

You’re way of the mark there. Very silly answer.

Ireland’s own Covid stats say that 83.9% of Covid fatalities had underlying conditions

            https://www.hpsc.ie/a-z/respiratory/coronavirus/novelcoronavirus/surveillance/weeklyreportoncovid-19deathsreportedinireland/COVID-19_Weekly_Death_Report_Website_v1.6.pdf

Not having a Covid vaccine is NOT a comorbidity.

          2. Nigel

‘More than cancer, chronic kidney disease, diabetes or hypertension Nigel?’

Yup. By a mile. Even if you have all four, being unvaccinated is STILL more of a comorbidity. I think the only thing that’s more of a factor than being unvaccinated is age.

          3. Micko

            So… ummm

The 83.9% of folks dying with recognised co-morbidities in the official Irish Covid mortality statistics is just rubbish then?

Jeez that “follow the science” shtick didn’t last long – did it?

And then you go onto contradict yourself by saying “age” is more of a factor than vaccination status.

And yet, only two posts back you were calling vaccination status the “single biggest” factor.

            Ah Nigel. Monday’s eh?

Come in No7, your time is up…

          4. Nigel

‘The 83.9% of folks dying with recognised co-morbidities in the official Irish Covid mortality statistics is just rubbish then?’

Where in the report does it state their vaccination status?

‘And then you go onto contradict yourself by saying “age” is more of a factor than vaccination status.’

More of a correction and clarification, if you don’t mind. That’s the more scientific approach, don’t you think? Correct yourself when you get someting wrong or leave something out?

          5. Micko

“ Where in the report does it state their vaccination status?”

            I doesn’t.

Which means YOU don’t know either.

And your initial statement about vaccination status being the largest comorbidity, was in fact – your opinion.

            Which is fine.

            But…

You should probably stop spreading harmful misinformation Nigel ;)

          6. Nigel

Which means it doesn’t speak to whether or not vaccination status is a co-morbidity. You decided to respond to a claim about how vaccination status relates to morbidity from covid with a report that says nothing about vaccination status. Havent you been mocking someone else about critically evaluating sources today?

You went and ‘did your own research’ about an issue using a source that says nothing about that issue. Just think about that for a while.

          7. Micko

            You haven’t provided any sources.

            I have

            You should probably shhhh now.

Besides. You made the statement. The burden of proof is on you. Flying Spaghetti Monster etc etc

            ——————

“ did your own research’ ”

            Emmm. No.

Merely looking up a single percentage on a publicly available statistic is now classed as “ did your own research’ ”

Jesus Nigel. Full of the cliches today eh?

            #CrumblingNarrative

          8. Nigel

But you went looking and found a source that said absolutely nothing about the issue.

‘Merely looking up a single percentage on a publicly available statistic is now classed as “ did your own research’ ”’

It would certainly be a tad more impressive as a piece of research iif it had been relevant.

          9. Micko

            No

You can’t assert something with no data to back it up. That’s opinion. Which is fine – as long as you realise it.

            For example:

I personally think the biggest comorbidity associated with Covid is the ingestion of blue M&M’s

Prove me wrong with data… or lack of that data

          10. Nigel

It’s the internet, we can say anything. But I might go looking for the link, or I might not. Right now I’m still marveling at how you, an unvaccinated person, wants me to prove to you that unvaccinated people are vulnerable not just to infection but also to reinfection. It’s literally in your own self-interest to know for a fact how vulnerable you might be. Do you realy believe e’matty’s theories on the natural superiority of the unvaxxed master-race? Do you really think a report that has no information one way or the other is a useful guide to that subject? I’ve said this before – this is something you need to have an honest and accurate-as-possible evaluation of, not because I want to win an argument on the internet, but because it’s highly relevant to your health and well being. Stop asking me for links and go find out for yourself.

          11. Micko

            No.

I think you gave your opinion as fact and now you’re floundering.

Oh and I’m not an “unvaccinated person”

Have you not heard the new lingo – I’m a “Covid survivor”

            Gimme a f&*kin break!

          12. Nigel

Give yourself a break. Make a good-faith effort to find out if you’re at risk from reinfection and the extent to which being unvaccinated is a risk factor. The truth isn’t some halfway point between our seperate positions or hidden somewhere in a Joe Rogan podcast. The truth is the truth. Go find it.

          13. Micko

I don’t listen to Joe Rogan. Dunno why you’re bringing him up.

And of course I’m at “risk” of reinfection.

            Everyone is.

          14. Nigel

Oh Joe Rogan is just one example of all the great sources of information we have nowadays about things like the pandemic and climate change. Fantastic, isn’t it? Anyway, what if you’re more at risk if unvaccinated? Shouldn’t you be aware of something like that?

          15. Micko

Cool Cool. Just rambling then are ya? Bringing up random unrelated stuff so.

Actually, hope you’re taking antibody tests then? How do you know had an effective immune response from your vaccinations?

I know I have had a good response from infection – coz, ye know, I was sick and now I’m like… still alive. ;p

Shouldn’t you be aware of something like that?

            It’s coming you know…

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-lU1SeyWew

Anyway – coffee and walk on the beach time.

        2. North Gay George's Treat

You haven’t read the study or read up anything on its widely discredited authors. So cool your jets, your unvaccinated Übermensch fantasy is still just that, a fantasy.

        3. No more Maura

Congrats on your natural immunity Matty and your win, I am happy for you after all the abuse and nasty comments you have suffered. I really hope we are wrong about the vccines killing everyone in the next years, half of my family has had the clot shot, they all seem fine now but I am scared for their future ;(

        4. Mad

          You survived it you say?
How can you survive some thing you and your fellow brain dead cohort claim didn’t really exist?
Why are you bellowing about being a survivor, Gloria G?

    1. North Gay George's Treat

You see, this is what happens when you are unable to critically evaluate a source. Something you have never been able to do SOQ, because you, and the rest of the misinformers, have never been taught how to do it.

Anyway: “ Seneff began publishing articles on topics related to biology and medicine in low-impact, open access journals, such as Interdisciplinary Toxicology and eight papers in the journal Entropy between 2011 and 2015.[2][8] According to food columnist Ari LeVaux, Seneff’s work in this area has made her “a controversial figure in the scientific community” and she has received “heated objections from experts in most every field she’s delved into”.[2] In 2013, she coauthored a paper that associated the herbicide glyphosate with a wide variety of diseases such as cancer and disorders such as autism.[9] Discover magazine writer Keith Kloor criticized the uncritical republication of the study’s results by other media outlets.[10] Jerry Steiner, the executive vice president of sustainability at Monsanto, said in an interview regarding the study that “We are very confident in the long track record that glyphosate has. It has been very, very extensively studied.”[11] Seneff’s claim that glyphosate is a major cause of autism and that, “At today’s rates, by 2025, half the kids born will be diagnosed with autism,” has also been criticized. For example, Pacific Standard noted that, contrary to Seneff’s claims, many scientific reviews have found that the rise in autism rates over the past 20 years is due to changes in diagnostic practices, and that a number of studies, including a 2012 review in the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health, have found little evidence that glyphosate is associated with adverse development outcomes.[12]

Seneff and her MIT colleagues have also published on the health impacts of fat and cholesterol consumption in America. Based on this work, Seneff claimed that Americans are suffering from a cholesterol deficiency, not an excess.[13][14] In 2014–2016 Seneff was proposed as an expert witness for litigators seeking damages from Pfizer associated with their cholesterol drug Lipitor,[15] but the court dismissed the claim largely because Seneff lacked expert status and failed to provide credible evidence linking Lipitor to any specific harm.[16]

Response from scientists and academics Edit
Clinical neurologist and skeptic Steven Novella criticized Seneff’s Entropy publication for making “correlation is causation” assumptions using broad statistical extrapolations from limited data, saying “she has published only speculations and gives many presentations, but has not created any new data”.[17] Scientists and scholars such as Derek Lowe, a medicinal chemist, and Jeffrey Beall, a library scientist known for his criticism of predatory open access publishers, have separately criticized Seneff’s paper for misrepresenting the results and conclusions of other researchers’ work. Lowe and Beall also noted that Entropy and its publisher, MDPI, have a known history of publishing studies without merit.[18][8]

A 2017 Review Article written by Kings College of London researchers and published by Frontiers in Public Health called Seneff’s glyphosate health-risk research claims “a deductive reasoning approach based on syllogism” and “at best unsubstantiated theories, speculations or simply incorrect.”[19] Consumers Union senior scientist Michael Hansen characterized Seneff and her glyphosate claims as “nutty”, “truly unhinged”, and “dangerous”.[20]”

      1. Micko

I have no idea if ANY of this is true or not with regards to anything SOQ has posted. .

        But…

“ you are unable to critically evaluate a source.”

You just copied and pasted directly from Wikipedia.

I would not be banging on that you’re King S*^t.

          1. Micko

Nothing about you is genuine pal

Also, the “genuine question” followed by insult is a very tired internet trope. You use it a lot.

            Yawn… yer a bit of a cliche aren’t ya.

          2. The Millie Obnoxious™

            Oh I do hope so.

Sad lack of humour round these parts lately.

It’s kind of a strange thing actually. Personally speaking, the past two years have been very difficult for myself and my family (covid or no covid) and I realised a few weeks ago that in spite of a really awful year last year, I am happier and healthier and in a better place than I have been in a long time. So even though things have been crap, utterly crap, I am taking this one thing as a win and running with it.

Bring on good times, good food, good humour, and good people.

          3. Janet, dreams of an alternate universe

that’s good to hear, apart from financially I’m pretty good too :)

          4. Johnny-ny.

            Speaking of genuine pal.

What do they call the big man on line who’s afraid go on the Telly and back up is his BiG talk- is there a word for that – I think it’s chicken or coward ?

Or brave courageous keyboard warrior,no no I think it’s troll.

          5. Kali

What’s dumb about his comment, seems spot on. You can’t claim the intellectual high ground by claiming someone has no analytical skills and then use wikipedia as a source of information. It’s not reliable in any sense and you’d never get away with using it as a reference in research

      2. SOQ

And what about Dr Peter McCullough whom you know well is the main author of this report?

As for Wikipedia- if you think that is a credible source for scientists and academics then enough said.

    2. Nigel

A gay man who once campaigned for lgbtq rights is defending Nazis and claiming vaccines give people AIDS.

I reported on what some academics and scientists were predicting, and by the looks of it, they were right.

Dr Peter McCullough is a high end medical expert so let’s see the “fact checkers” give their OPNION on this one.

          2. Nigel

You predicted nothing. They decided on an angle of attack – vaccines give you AIDS! – then tailored their study with that outcome in mind.

          3. Johnny-ny.

            High End ?
Are we not doing “business studies” for idiots today,we can just rename the “sheet the SAmE Old QueeN experience,as you just puke up yank right wing misinformation and propaganda every day and every single post.

Why is a sad old Belfast queen now based in Dublin so so in love with extreme right wing yanks, how do you feel connected these yanks, whats the draw, the business plans….

          4. George

He believes this: “there was an intentional, very comprehensive suppression of early treatment in order to promote fear, suffering, isolation, hospitalization and death. And it seemed to be completely organized and intentional in order to create acceptance for and then promote mass vaccination.”

            He’s a nut.

          5. SOQ

There was. How else can you explain the lack of early intervention protocols two years after SARS-CoV-2 first appeared?

Big Pharma captured the medical and health care industry a ling time ago. This carryon started in the early eighties with HIV/AIDS and nothing has changed since then.

          6. Nigel

            ‘How else can you explain’

There is no other explanation. Your completely made up mass-murder conspiracy is the only possible alternative to the more persuasive probablility that effective early-intervention treatments for viral infections might actually be difficult to make.

          7. George

Doctors and nurses worked very long hours to save people’s lives and were exposed to high levels of covid-19 resulting in much higher deaths than any in other profession. And you accuse them of letting people die. You have sunk to a new low.

          8. SOQ

Front line doctors and nurses do not implement intervention protocols- they only follow them, so bugger off with your fake compassion. They are just as frustrated as anyone else.

Here is an ICU doctor who had to sit and watch his patients die- because he was not allowed access to the drugs which would have saved them. That is MURDER and those responsible should be prosecuted and jailed.

          9. SOQ

It takes a certain nasty type of creep to spend their time trying to get under other people’s skins.

People dying in ICU’s because of lack of drugs? Ah sure that doesn’t matter, its all MY fun.

    1. Doxxy Chainsaw

Did you wake up early to stand for your national anthem on gbeebies? Did you ever get around to learning the second verse?

On the plus side it wasn’t written by Phil Coulter.
It would be like God Save The Queen being written by the Nolan Sisters …

  2. Tarfton Clax

The terrible language, endless internecine squabbling and the actual comments by individuals on this page featuring necrophillia are deeply deeply sad. This website is pretty much dead at this stage. Is there no moderation at a on this site? Or is it the “14 yr old boys screaming insults at each other forever” vibe you are now going for? Pitiful. It is a shame as this used to be a fun website. Never go Full 4Chan.

If you think it’s bad now I could have a word with my pal Anvil.
Now he really is a filthy beast.

    2. Annie 14 Tennis

I couldn’t agree more Tarflon. I normally just view comments and give my opinion every now again, but you’ve said what needs to be said.
What used to be a decent, funny, intriguing place has turned into a sleaze dump with more of people like this Ten Pin guy who just bring sleaze to the party. And then to write * If you think it’s bad now I could have a wordwith my pal Anvil.
Now he really is a filthy beast.* manspreading his immunity from consequences.

And another one, MAD, who talks about piss in every second sentence. Then you have the likes of Doxxy and Nigel with their dictionary of abuse churning out childish phrases.
At least even the Journal hasn’t allowed that to infiltrate their comments section.

Not quite sure you’ve got the hang of this internet malarkey. Perhaps you’d be better off joining a bible studies group.
You might find Papi there …

        1. Mad

          Poor old Papi
          He was one obnoxious individual
We’ve outlived a lot of them Terry; Pat Mustard, Barnabas, Bertie and others: you can’t help feel a little tear of nostalgia or something

          1. TenPin Terry

I liked all the others tbh.
Spot of banter and a few larfs and most could take a joke.
It’s the mirthless ones who take themselves too seriously you have to watch out for.

          2. Mad

Pat Mustard was pretty horrific though
I see the Gray whitewash is released
You called that all along too

Japan’s Kowa says ivermectin effective against Omicron in phase III trial

TOKYO, Jan 31 (Reuters) – Japanese trading and pharmaceutical company Kowa Co Ltd said on Monday anti-parasite drug ivermectin has been found effective for treating the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in a Phase III trial.

The trial found ivermectin has “an antiviral effect” against the variant, Kowa said without providing further details. The firm has been working with Kitasato University, a medical university in Tokyo.

        Headline correction:

Japan’s Kowa says ivermectin showed ‘antiviral effect’ against Omicron in research

    1. SOQ

There is a whole trend for parasite cleansing at the moment apparently. I wonder if you took Ivermectin for that, would the covidians get so upset?

Or is it just the fast waning leaky experimental gene therapy with no long term safety data they are wedded to?
