A Limerick A Day

Six members of Japan’s maritime self-defence forces (SDF) have received suspensions after years of eating free ‘navy curry’ they were not entitled to

Some officers out in Japan
Came up with a rather neat plan
Though not working at sea
They all ate for free
As much curry as anyone can

Banyi in TempleBar is regarded as an authentic type Japanese type resturant- forks fround upon etc.

Food cannot be faulted but if you asked for that combo you’d have a waiter sniffing at you for the remainder of your visit.

Best Katsu I ever had was in this tiny place I went to in Beijing with my brother. They gave us tiny, crispy fried shrimp and loads of beer, followed by the most delicious, comforting Katsu I’ve ever eaten. The kind of food you dream about being able to eat again.

Aldi does a Katsu kit which is really good but it one of those things they never advertise and usually stuck in the lucky dip middle isle.

Have yet to find a store bought Katsu sauce that really nails it, must try that Aldi one if I can find it.

Seems to me the only honourable way out would be, Hari-Kurri…

    I’ll get my groats.!
