The M50 at Junction 7 Southbound will remain closed until later in the morning . The slip road from the N4 onto the M50 is also closed. Rush hour traffic will be seriously impacted. Please allow extra time for your journey. Traffic on the N4 intending to travel south should divert at Liffeyvalley and use the Fonthill Road onto the outer ring road.

Adam Gilmour, 8, was confirmed dead this afternoon following a road traffic accident involving a Peugeot car this morning in Cloughmills, Co Antrim.
The October 20 letter (above) Jim Allister MLA sent to NEELB (North Eastern Education and Library Board) on behalf of the Gilmour family and the subsequent letter of acknowledgement.
An 18 year old male has been arrested following the incident.

25 year old James Lee is hit and knocked unconscious by another skdiver while plummetting 12,500 feet above Wiltshire. As luck would have it, two other skydivers saw what happened and chased after him.
The ensuing drama was captured by James’ helmet cam.

When I rang 999 I got the dispatcher straightaway, no hold music or anything BUT I got passed around the houses and was asked 3 times if I wanted “Fire Brigade, Ambulance, Garda, Lifeboat” and I explained at least 3 times where it was and how bad it was FFS, the call took 7 minutes. Following my call a lone Traffic Corp Garda arrived (u can see him in the pics) and then a Paramedic @ about 10 mins after I placed the 999 my gripe is that 7 of those 10 mins were wasted on WTF bullshit call handling.
