A new podcast series about Dracula that ‘sinks its teeth into Bram Stoker’s pop culture legacy’.
Host Liam Gergahty (top) writes:
From film to animation and from music to video games, this four episode series will feature guests such as Bram’s great-grand nephew Dacre Stoker, Norman Stiles – the creator of Count Von Count on Sesame Street and film critic Tara Brady.
It’s hosted by myself for Bram Stoker Festival. Episode 1 launches on October 1, with a new episode every week leading up to the festival on 26th – 29th.
An audio ghost experience is available for download from TODAY.
Liam Geraghty writes:
Starring the dark talents of Anna Sheils-McNamee, Margaret Mc Auliffe and Donncha O’Dea and reated by Peter Dunne of MORB and myself for the Bram Stoker Festival, this weird walking tour is not for the faint hearted.
So grab your crucifix, wrap that scarf tight around your tasty neck, put on your headphones and download terror straight into your unwitting ears!
Available to download for €5 (+ 80 cent processing fees)
A few scenes from tonight’s underground gothic train ride [a trip in the Iarnród Éireann train tunnel under the Phoenix Park ] as part of the Bram Stoker Festival. Could be confused with average Saturday night train ride in fairness.
“We roped Matthew Griffin into putting together this exhaustive illustration on the influence of Stoker’s Dracula on film and literature over the last 100 years. We’ve already had people asking to buy prints of it. If you luv it, gizza share, eh?”
