For a country that tends to make big fuss over our literary heritage, I am surprised that more of a fuss is not made over stoker, who single-handedly created the biggest sub-genre in all of popular culture.

James Joyce has a museum in the Martello Tower in Sandycove, another in the house from ‘The Dead’, and even his own day – Dracula and vampires are more popular than anything Joyce ever created by a factor of one hundred, and what do we have to celebrate his literary legacy – the Dracula experience in Barcode?

Agreed! Hopefully you’ll like FANGS – we’ve gathered the worlds leading Bram Stoker experts, academics and artists (not to mention his great-grand nephew!) to discuss Stoker and his legacy in pop culture. You can subscribe anywhere you get podcast. Starts Oct 1st. Cheers!
