Strike action over outsourcing continues with a full withdrawal of labour for an indefinite duration.
Three hundred and thirty production staff downed tools at 7am yesterday following a Labour Court recommendation to outsource 17 jobs in the factory’s stores section.
Trade unions Siptu and Unite will begin talks this afternoon at the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) on behalf of Cadbury’s staff in attempt to settle the dispute.
