Do If, like us, you find Christmas can be a dark, forbidding time of forced jollity, boredom and existential dread?

You may appreciate this Xmas short made by Leon Butler and Starlight Labs, Galway so.

Thanks Leon

It got a bit hairy betimes.

From Tim Pat Coogan’s The Man Who Made Ireland:

Fascinating insight.

Or hoary old chestnut roasting on an open fire.

YOU decide.

Noelle Fwrites:

Thought I’d share with you the talented street artistry on display in The Tenters area of Dublin 8. Last Christmas we were delighted to behold Merry Dickmas 2011 (above), a happy message to the neighbourhood which stayed with us until November 2012, when the hoarding was sadly taken down. It was missed.

We were overjoyed to discover last week that the 2012 edition had been created (above) , and it was an even more merry version than the last!  Some (probably not all) residents of The Tenters would like to express their gratitude to this anonymous artist, we very much appreciate the sentiment.
Merry Dickmas to one and all,  and a Fanny New Year!
