Spent an hour on Portobello bridge with @dublincycling this morning, asking people who cycle to advocate for safe cycling routes alongside #Busconnects https://t.co/MgChOZeDJl I witnessed so many near-misses, it was very alarming (and no, it's not cyclists' fault).

This is the first of a new series of videos myself and Philip De Roos are making where we go for a cycle and a chat around Dublin with various different people.
We went for a cycle and a chat with Anne Bedos back on a cold day in March. Anne is very active in the Dublin cycling world, she set up Rothar three years ago on the balcony of her small apartment and it has since grown to the very busy shop in Phibsboro, Dublin, and the new cafe / bike shop on Fade street. Along the way Rothar have recycled (and saved from landfill) thousands of bikes, trained up dozens of
volunteer bike mechanics and even won the prestigious David Manley Social Entrepreneur Award. We will be uploading a new ‘cycling with’ video every three weeks or so.
