The dogged-with-legal-woes film ‘The Professor And The Madman‘ starring Sean Penn and Mel Gibson is released in Portugal, and seemingly will be out in cinemas in other countries this year – after a huge legal battle and three year delay (it was filmed in 2016).

It was – as far as I am aware – entirely shot in Ireland. With Dublin filling in for London, and Trinity for Oxford. The trailer looks interesting, but looks like neither Penn or Gibson are going to promote it…

Ah now.

Further to alarming news that Mel Gibson is to bring out a sequel to gore-soaked  The Passion of The Christ (2004) called The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection…

Lots of sightings of Mel Gibson in Dublin. Spotted at The Shelbourne and having dinner in Pichet. No idea why he is in town. He doesn’t look particularly bug-eyed raging or sweary. Must be one of his good days.

Mel Gibson has a new film coming out – The Beaver – where he plays a troubled husband who employs a hand puppet in order to communicate with his family. Oh, exploitable.

You’d think he’d be familiar with the work of the internetz by now.
