A monument to World Cup match-outcome-predictor Paul the Psychic Octopus, who died last October, was unveiled this week at the Sea Life Centre in Oberhausen, Germany.
It’s a bit weird. And, to some, strangely familiar.

Google’s controversial and censorious Streetview – which gathered much of its Irish data in 2009 – isn’t so much a snapshot as a memorial to Ireland in slightly happier times.
There are plenty of businesses, restaurants and shops on there that no longer exist, and we’d like to honour their passing.
