You like craftsmanship?
Jamie Murphy writes;
I’ve just finished printing ‘Albert, Ernest & the Titanic’, my letterpress book created at Distillers Press in the National College of Art and Design for my MA in Visual Communication. All the illustrations were cut by hand and all the type was set by hand. Rich Gilligan has just shot the promo video (above). The book is on exhibition during the NCAD graduate show opening June 8th.
Part of the 2011 Graduate/Postgraduate Exhibition at NCAD, which ends this Sunday.
We don’t know much about art, but we do like an upside-down Ford Escort.
