The ‘controversial’ Body and Soul rucksack.

They said it wouldn’t be returned.

They were wrong.

It’s a long shot.

But what the HELL.

Rachel writes:

“Hi Body and Soul Survivors I got the 1am bus [Bus Eireann] back from Body and Soul [Co Westmeath to Custom House Square, Dublin] on Sunday night and the village idiot I am managed to grab the wrong rucksack from the bus. (It was 2.30am don’t judge me …) I found an address for the one I currently have (I’ve made contact with his college) but if anyone picked up a rucksack from that bus can you email [broadsheet@broadsheet.ie. I am beyond heartbroken, it has sentimental jewellery and vintage t-shirts in there as well. The rucksack was a long blue one – If you look inside It has my ancient red wellington boots (amongst other much loved items). Haribou for life if you return it to me,”

Anyone?

UPDATE: Implausibly bag and wellies located [see comments] Thanks Richie.

“I know you guys don’t normally do lost property posts but I left my bag in Platform 5 on Connolly Station, Dublin last week with my passport and all my (dirty :/ ) clothes in it. I’m flying to Munich on Monday morning and it hasn’t turned up in any Garda Station or at Connolly. Above is the the type bag and the washbag (top) that I had my passport in. Likely scenario is that someone took it and dumped it when they realised they had taken the bag of a pauper…”

Rusty, brake-free Hercules.

Is there no bike they won’t nick.

Aibhe Cunningham writes:

“My bike was stolen on Tuesday night in Dublin [Bolton Street, outside the DIT building, beside the Dublin Bikes stand]…it’s s a woman’s city bike and has a few distinctive features: a half purple half green frame, the name HERCULES written down the crossbar and the pedals are filled in and have a rough dark grey material on them that looks like sandpaper. It has an old 3 gear system with an enclosed chain. (The chain is bright orange with rust right now) There is only one brake on the bike, the main brake system is operated by back pedaling. There was a bell on the bike when it was stolen. It is a silver bell and has an Iinsect incised onto the top of it. If anyone can suggest where I could be looking please let me know.”
