They’re going underground.

Robert Burke writes:

As we all know, you don’t normally do this, but a friend had his bike stolen from the underground CAR PARK of his Apartment block last night. Last seen at c.18.00 yesterday in underground car park of Tolka Vale apartments on the Finglas Road [Dublin]. They sawed through the lock.
Bought through the Bike to Work scheme for a pretty penny, and only 2 months old. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This bike was stolen from an underground car park in Ballintyre apartment [Dublin] complex sometime during Monday night. It’s a Lapierre Shaper 300. It’s distinctive as I’d changed it from a flat handlebar commuter bike to a road bike. The only difference to the picture [above] is the handlebar attachment and the bars themselves had black tape when it was taken! Would really like to get this back as the ba##^%rds also broke my car window and stole my golf clubs too…

foundFound in traffic this morning.

A colleague found this little tyke on Camden Street [Dublin] this morning darting in and out of traffic. He’s very friendly so we’re presuming someone is missing him. He’s currently keeping us company in the office but he unfortunately can’t stay long. If anyone knows where he belongs or could volunteer to mind him until we find out where he does it would be marvellous.

They are seeking a permanent place to lurch.

Junior and Jade are 4 months old fantastic Lurcher puppies. We have them in foster right now but both are ready for their forever homes straight away. Please email one of our volunteers marti@littlebigdog.ie if you would like to adopt one [or both] of these dotes…

islandDid you leave your bike on this island?

Elaine writes:

Two guys on the island on the corner of Harcourt Street (where bikes are locked up opposite the Harcourt Building) looking dodgy and cycling away with two bikes each. Went towards Charlemont Street area with them. Saw from my office window so couldn’t do anything… I think there might be a couple of upset cyclists come hometime :(
