I realise you don’t normally do this but I found this phone at the Craft Beer Festival in the RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin. If anyone recognises the cute kid on the screensaver get in touch [below] so I can return it.
Anyone?

I know you don’t normally do this but…..my wallet fell out of my pocket on the 16 bus today at T2, Dublin Airport. It has all my cards in it to access any of my monies AND a bigger issue, it would have my visa and drivers license (I’m American). It’s a brown, leather wallet with Red Wing stamped on it and doesn’t have any money but it would hugely appreciated if anyone finds it to contact me so I don’t have to deal with immigration again! If anyone finds it Broadsheet have my details.. Even offer up a few pints if found..
Anyone?
Stevie update! He’s back, starving, milling into his dinner. Is warm and smells like an old lady. Thank you so much @broadsheet_ie + tweeps!

Folks, can you keep an eye out for a medium tabby with one clouded eye in D.7? Stevie hasn’t come home since last night.

Update: I Just Called To Say
Garda Tim Farrell at Roscommon Garda station with two Collie pups found in a bag in a drain.
ISPCA writes:
Garda Alma Delaney and Garda John Duggan responded to a call from a member of the public who had heard the sound of pups crying coming from a fertilizer bag thrown in a drain in Ballydangan, Co Roscommon. They tried to help but could not reach the bag.
The Gardaí were able to retrieve the bag and found the two pups tied inside. They very kindly brought them back to the station where they were given a bath, food and a warm bed in a cell for the night. Anybody with any information is asked to contact the ISPCA on 1890 515 515 or Roscommon Garda Station.
You might recall Stevie, the sightless, homeless cat from last week.

Here’s Stevie (above) in his new foster home He’s settled in really well & we’re hoping now he’ll get on with his new girlfriend – the resident blind cat ; ) Fingers crossed…
Girlfriend, eh?
Merlot,
Found hobbling in the grounds of a restaurant in Glasson, Co. Westmeath.
His left front paw had been severely injured and “some of the pads were missing leaving the bone exposed”.
The injury was so severe that it was thought that Merlot would have to have his leg amputated.
But it was decided to try a course of intense treatment in an effort to save the leg.
It worked!
Carmel Murray of the ISPCA writes:
Merlot has received great care at the ISPCA National Animal Centre with bandage changes every second day. He has been a model patient and, despite all he has been through, he continues to be a very affectionate little fellow. The Vet and staff are very pleased that his wound has healed so well but he will now need physiotherapy to regain to maximise the movement in the leg.
When fully recovered, Merlot will be available for adoption and will be seeking a home where he can live inside the majority of the time.
Anyone?
He can’t see.
It’s a Wonder he’s even alive.

A very urgent appeal. Stevie was born blind. Last year he came to us after nearly being knocked down by a car. We believe he’s 8 -12 yrs old. We are looking for a longterm foster or ideally forever home for him to live out the rest of his years in peace and quiet. He would need a quiet, laid-back, strictly indoor-only home (preferably with an enclosed garden).
Stevie doesn’t know he is blind and can do all the things every other cat can do. If you’re interested in giving him a forever home/sofa and having your life turned around by this amazing cat who is full of love then please call our helpline 01-6683529
