carkeys

Are these yours?

Killian writes:

I know you don’t normally do this but…..I found a set of keys down the side of my seat at the window on the 5:15 from Westport to Heuston, I got on the train in Portarlington and only noticed them when I was getting off.  Have a feeling they belong to someone who got off in Portarlington due to what what was left on the table, could have been any of the stations in between though all the tags seem local to Westport i.e. SuperValu, Tesco, Dunnes, Treacy’s pharmacy.. If they are yours I have left them with the Information desk in Heuston, contact them and they should be able to get them to either Portarlington, Westport or any station in between.

katieKatie.

Spayed, vaccinated and probably a little confused.

Lorna Duffy writes:

We urgently require a home for a lovely 1 year old female cat called Katie (above. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Her owner, my aunt, sadly passed away 3 weeks ago. She is an indoor cat but we are training her to go outdoors. We are in the Dublin 5 area.

BQkaGAcCcAAGtwKBut the damn careless hipsters at Wolfgang Digital WILL.

Rob Beirne explains:

I know you don’t usually do this but we came into work today at Wolfgang Digital to find that one of our beloved Wolfgang fixies was stolen last night. We’re located in Dublin 2, near Google, and it’s a pretty distinctive looking bike… there’s always a chance someone will spot it out and about.

bikeIs this yours?

Do you lock it at Charlemont Luas?

It was Inches from being lost forever.

Until a couple of pesky kids came along…

Eoin Maguire writes:

Just helped someone stop a person seconds away from stealing a bike under Charlemont Luas Bridge [at the Grand Canal, Dublin].

Locks had been sliced through with mini angle grinder. He claimed he “lost his key” before scuttling away.

The bike is now locked at Royal Eye and Ear hospital, Adelaide Rd if the rightful owner would like to collect.

Go inside to the [hospital] porters and show that your key opens the old lock.

Kudos to Aoife who spotted it in the first place.

We’re taking back the streets.

One politely retrieved hybrid fixie at a time.

dogIs she yours?

Babs Leonard writes:

I found This beautiful little dog in Northwood Park, Santry [Co Dublin]. She was on her own, isn’t microchipped and had no lead or collar. She is with Anicare Veterinary Group in Santry at present waiting on whomever may own her to find her.

The vet said she is in good condition, one year (maybe less) old and is a Spaniel cross. She was very well behaved, trusting and gentle. She was found yesterday and will go to the pound today and has 7 days to be re-homed before being put down.

Anyone?

Just a little note of warning to anyone using Drury Street Bike Car Park.. I just witnessed a guy with a bolt cutters trying to get the lock off a bike at lunch time today. Luckily he was disturbed and ran away. Worth noting though that They obviously have their eye on the place.
