Does Dublin City Council have the ‘power’ to clamp?
Anyone?

I’ve seen this a few times and made GoCar aware of it. Amazed DCC still don’t know. Once I saw an electric GoCar clamped in an EV only parking space. Now that’s ridiculous.
They must be charging to be allowed to park in a charging space. Otherwise they should just park close to it in a normal space.
As an EV owner, this occurs with GoCars more and more frequently. Their EV cars parked in spots an are not charging – not even connected. It’s infuriating. I’ve called DCC on more than one occasion and to their credit, clampers came along in jig time to clamp them up….
Their solution is to offer a free subscription to move the car to a different spot yourself…. as if….
Some Pay & Display spots have restrictions at certain times, gocar still have to obey the parking restrictions. For instance, where that car is parked, Mon-Sat 16:00-19:00 that’s classified as a Bus Lane and cannot be parked in.
It looks like it’s parked in an area zoned as a late night taxi rank.
So it’s illegally parked.
Go Cars can park free in legal areas, not illegal areas.
yep, if you zoom in you can see the taxi sign. Clamping fine incoming for some unfortunate go car user
