It’s a Nubrella:

the 21st century umbrella.  It is handsfree and the aerodynamic design blocks the wind and rain“.

Not to mention how cool you’ll look, sporting one. Oh good, there’s a video…

Apparently the Nubrella’s been around for a few years now. Hard to imagine why it hasn’t taken off.

You’re a goddamn genius.

From actual Guardian text accompanying photo:

“Here you can see Ajai Chopra (on the left), the deputy director of the European department of the IMF, walking towards the Central Bank of Ireland where the talks are taking place. We can’t immediately identify his colleague, I’m afraid, but once we have a name I”ll let you know. Unless you’ve got an idea?…”

Oh, and I won’t be needing the homeless guy’s name. Cheers.

It’s a live blog. They’re live-blogging our destruction.

There’s a famous television listing for The Wizard of Oz, written by newspaperman Rick Polito, which goes like this: “Transported to a surreal landscape, a young girl kills the first person she meets and then teams up with three strangers to kill again.”

Accurate but misleading. The best kind of accurate. Here’s another:

“Disaffected farm boy destroys military installation, killing thousands.” Star Wars, A New Hope.
